Just went around unlocking as many characters as I can. Still need 3 more I believe, Twili Midna, The King and Yuga as far as I can tell thats all Im missing. I beat Legends Mode except for the new stuff, Im 30% through the first map, like 10% on Great Sea, like 5% in Lorule, and 1% on Koholint and Great Travels. Great Travels scares me.

7 you can full train a stat on a team of 6 in a couple minutes.

8 Is also good, you can mass buy vitamins and also you can EV train just with vitamins, they don't stop giving stats at 100 anymore

Yeah the fairies and food weren't a thing in the original lol

And yeah sometimes these musou games are like that, especially the original HW everything would be going fine then all of a sudden you need to grind 40 levels on Agitha to progress. It was dumb like that sometimes.

I played the original on Wii U, and I did the entire Adventure mode map, but never finished the Master Quest map or either of the DLC maps. And this version has more characters, and 9 maps. What am I getting myself into. @_@ And I noticed they rebalanced Adventure mode to account for the new maps. Weapons and hearts are rearranged, and character and costume unlocks are different. Like completing the first campaign mission unlocked the entire original cast. I hope that means they also rebalanced some missions to reflect that? We'll see! And I like how they added % complete to each map and badge market. And this version looks great and runs buttery smooth. Haven't tried it undocked yet.

Also! You can switch characters! I remember when this came out originally, and I thought it was weird that wasn't a thing. But it was in Fire Emblem Warriors, glad they moved that over. Although it seems characters I'm not directly controlling don't really do anything. It seems like they don't get kills or EXP as far as I can tell. The AI controlled characters in FEW did work. You could direct not only your party, but other heroes around the map and they would capture forts and kill mobs and build support levels. But it's nice being able to tell Impa to go to a fort then I do stuff on the other side of the map, then when she gets there I can switch and capture the fort and level up. Should make some missions easier I think. And I imagine some Adventure missions with items for multiple characters means I don't have to do that same map 2 or 3 times now to get everything. I always hated doing that.

Also I got a fairy, and I can feed it food to level it up, but idk how to find food? I found a square with mushrooms on it, but I captured every fort and got no food so idk.

Oh and I know they fixed the infinite money bug, but iirc the bottom leftmost square in the MQ map is the place to farm EXP and money. Still gonna be a while until I can do that though probably.

Got a few more shiny Wurmples and evolved them to see what they do. Unfortunately 3 of them evolved into Cascoon. One did evolve to Silcoon though. So I'm probably just going to hunt a silcoon? We'll see. Eventually I want to get a shiny living dex. lol

Also, except for Cascoon, the entire Wurmple family looks really good shiny!

Some of them are barely any different, others are wildly different. Also they sparkle when they appear. And on their overview screen theres a little star mark that appears if its shiny if youre not sure.

I've been playing a lot of Age of Calamity and Fire Emblem Warriors recently, and I heard about these games, and that they're pretty good. But I've never played a Fate/ game before and don't know anything about the series. Will I be hopelessly lost, or does the story not really matter since I'm really just looking for that Musou experience? >.>

I guess I could also look into Hyrule Warriors DE, but I already played the original on Wii U. Or maybe there's another Musou/Musou-like on Switch that's worth checking out?

It's always kinda disappointing when you encounter a shiny Pokemon and it's a worthless Pokemon Zubat or a Pokemon with a shitty shiny colour.

A couple of years ago I was completing the Pokedex in Alpha Sapphire and suddenly I hatched a shiny Togepi.

It almost looks the same as the normal colour and I remember being so disappointed that I wasn't hatching a cooler Pokemon that one time.

Idk, I have a lot of "worthless" shinies like Zubat and Zigzagoon, but they have to value to me because I actively sought them out, so there's like a story behind them.

Excluding the red Gyarados and Pokemon Go where they're much more common, I've never once encountered a shiny.

Recent Pokemon games have made shiny hunting really really easy. XY onward basically have dedicated shiny hunting methods, as well as just increased base shiny chance and also the shiny charm which triples the shiny chance. Sword and Shield are kind of the exception, there's not really any built in shiny hunting methods, but if you connect to y-comm and just start joining random raids, you're very likely to join a shiny raid. There's also the raid adventures in the DLC which are 4 back-to-back raids, and each raid has a 1 in 100 chance for shiny after catching it.

Grats! I actually got into shiny hunting last year. It's really easy in Omega Ruby. I've found well over 100 shinies since I started hunting in September.

Got my Battle Lion finally. :D That's all the tank mounts. I think next I'll work on my DRK title. Don't have any of those yet, and it's honestly not much more work to get the titles. I'm curious if they'll add new tank mounts in 6.0. Or maybe they'll do healer mounts or something.

So close to my BiS. Bought the tome gloves this morning, and won a twine in raid so I upgraded the boots. Just need to upgrade the gloves, earings and ring and get the weapon and I'm BiS! \o/ Also I feel really good about being able to clear 12s this week.
