Basically a bunch of future bass producers (feelsy emotional EDM) are either collaborating with dubstep producers or are just making dubstep themselves. These kind of artists with this style are recently getting top billing at lots of EDM festivals and are rising up in popularity, some recent examples are Illenium and Slander (these guys were billed pretty high in Coachella's 2020 lineup) who have really taken off the past few years.I know all of those artists actually lol.
