Season 6 was on the weaker side, but I loved seeing Liza dominate a bunch of the tasks as seemingly the only competent person there. The tasks she typically lost were the ones where it was clear she just didn't care.

I don't have a hatred for 6 like I've seen from others, but I understand it being among the weaker end of the series but it's definitely got its moments like with the Hops task

Series 7 definitely a much better go at a 10-ep run tho

also I honestly even forgot that that podcast spoiler is the truth lol, I don't have much memory of the series 6-9 champs.... or no I definitely remember 7 & 8. I guess to be fair 9 isn't on youtube yet

Legendia beated aww yeah 7 down 11 to go... post-game seems neat (woah 8th character), I guess I'll do it after a little break

Soo I guess it got a bit more interesting with Chapter 6 but ehhhh I think I'll keep this behind Destiny. I kinda felt bad for Destiny 1 being in the bottom for so long but I really don't feel bad dumping on Legendia.... thinking back on it though I can't really say Destiny did that much better but I guess it just didn't bother me as much as Legendia has, even if I think Legendia has a more likeable cast....... but that's excluding the leading mains so I guess that's the issue.

so now... Symphonia > Rebirth > Eternia > Destiny 2 = Phantasia > Destiny > Legendia.... I swapping the placements of Destiny 2 and Phantasia 2s equivalency for some reason but not feeling strongly enough to change it to a '>' sign......... I could see Destiny 2 pulling ahead of Eternia at this rate, I dunno it just seems to be sticking with me as I move on from it, and throughout these rankings as I compare what games did right and wrong.

anyhow Legendia, geez I was feeling some sympathy for Shirley... but then just going oh okay I gotta do a genocide because I was chosen to do it.... what, you lost me. It could've been fine had she just been simply a brainwashed vessel of Nerifes but as the events played out it really just seem like she's alright with Nerifes's aims and it's just ridiculous

happy to get to Abyss next.... unsure what to expect from Tempest but after that should be smooth sailing!

there's been a hell of a lot of phone scams here in ontario claiming to be the canadian department of justice saying you're in trouble and they're coming to arrest you

even got some that spoof the actual department of justice phone #, so if you simply look up the number online it'll still look legit because it matches

it was really annoying over the summer I kept getting them numerous times a day

it's definitely a lot different from Hyrule Warriors, at least with these few story sages to sample but also just from the differences in characters and holy moly all the different item/rune uses and woah paragliders

yeahh not sure I'll get much use of Link's Arrows, they don't even really kill mobs... love Link's Strong 2 giving a shield surf tho aww yeah

• NA/EU rated about the same with NA most favourable. JP not throwing out those 5*s as easily, mostly 4s and a bit more 3s
• People liked.... Music 80 > Jobs 76 > Graphics 74 > Brave/Default System 70 > Characters 70 (PS: hail REVO)
• Two things particularly displeased with: Difficulty & Controls. Difficulty 33%, Usability 28%. Difficulty way too high, UI lacking details yet also cluttered
• lmao, the demo was deliberately challenging to get people to experiment with the jobs/abilities and such.. the result was frustrating everyone
• Adjustment: Casual.Normal/Hard difficulties. Affects the whole game of course but early stages in particular are more forgiving, yet balancing things so latter stages/bosses still feel challenging no matter the difficulty.
• another Key Complaint: Not being able to see turn order.
• Adjustment: Turn gauges & Exclamation Marks added.... looks like ATB gauges, exclamation marks appear above enemies about to act. Lol they specifically mention ATB here. Considered adding ATBs for enemies too but didn't wanna tilt balance too far in players favour. Wants to address players needs while retaining some unknowingness.
• Players can skip battle intros.
• Battle menus now have a picture of the character who's turn it is
• Battle info menu more detailed
• Field monsters chase slowed down, indications for weak and strong monsters (sweating weak monsters, red aura for strong)
• Underdog bonus for defeating tough enemies for your level.
• Sword swinging action easier, range improved, easier to use while running
• Adjusted fonts/backgrounds to be more readable
• Overhauled menu controls to avoid tricky stuff like pressing + & -, or holding buttons down
• Run by default option added (instead of holding run button)
• For in battle, option to change the Default quickcommand button
