Let me leave or I am breaking your jaw is the proper response to such aggresive sales tactics.

Youd have security called on you and youd receive no gift. Defeats the purpose of you going to the presentation.

People will prepare 1,001 excuses on why they're going to say no before they even enter the resort to check in for their presentation. At the end, they will regurgitate all the excuses they've practiced along the way not knowing these are the same 1,001 excuses we hear day in and day out and know how to overcome and make the person saying them look stupid.

For example, the most popular one nowadays is the Corona Virus and my response is always the same. "You're visiting from xyz (I throw in the fact that they flew in a plane if they told me) to come to the Corona hotspot of the world to vacation despite the global pandemic and also decided to sit in a room with 50+ people and go one on one with a stranger for two hours only sitting 2 feet apart? You're not worried about Corona, you wouldn't be here if that were the case". Bonus points if I can mention that they have kids that have been running around touching stuff throughout their two hour presentation. That's an example of making someone look stupid over an ill thought out excuse to not buy.

But the easiest way out of a presentation is the one that people have the hardest time admitting; they cannot afford it. It's tough for people to say they cannot afford something to a stranger and thus will use one of their 1,001 excuses not knowing that if they just said they can't afford it they would be out of there the fastest. We can't fix broke. We can fix the other 1,001 problems they thought up of before entering the resort.

Actually I haven't. I mean, I enjoy my $325 monthly car payment.

Hope you buy yourself a nice car.

I have a 2019 Nissan Altima SR I bought in February of 2019. All my coworkers like BMWs and Mercedes. But fuck their maint. costs.

I'll take my significantly cheaper Japanese car that is just as good as their overpriced euro cars. I don't feel like overpaying for a logo.

what do you sell?

A trial package. I go to the table once the family says no to the original sales rep. that spent two hours with them. My package isn't an ownership but they still get treated like owners when they check into the resort. What it amounts to is prepaying your vacations at $50 a night (They don't pay resort fees on trial package nor does it have maintenance fees).

Stop downplaying yourself. You're obviously good at sales.

Not really.

So when I started I got into Frontline/Dayline. What that means I'm the first person a family sees and the one who spends two hours and try to get them to buy the ownership. I SUCKED at it. I did 8 months of that and barely sold enough to not get fired but not enough to really make money.

So I transferred to exit program. What that means is I'm the guy that goes in afterwards and tries to sell a "trial" package. It's cheaper. Way cheaper. No olgibations/commitment. It's a package that basically prepays your vacations for the next year at $50 bucks a night at a resort with no resort fees. They use this package to get people to upgrade when they tour again.

Exit was my niche. I obviously don't make as much as the frontline/dayline guys but it's an easier package to sell. I had 10 sales for the month out of 57 families I saw. That is what paid me out over 7k for the month.

Granted, for the following not everyone can do it but you can try. If you're successful it'll change your life.

Take me. College drop out. No real skills.

Got into working sales in at resort. This month, for July, I made $7,410.52. I'm 29, single, with no real bills except rent and car so nearly all of it is disposable income although I'm still a cheap ass and save. Orlando FL is the mecca of timeshare sales. There's no reason to not try and settle for $10 an hour.
