I use the latter phrase a bit as an epithet, like it's something cheap and unearned, telling over showing. smoke on the water. I got curious earlier today, and checked to see what playlists people had my PSO2 songs on. One, "1 list of good vgm", had Splatoon 2 next to Custom Robo and PSO. I think my head would explode if I went from Funky Radio to Panic Cube to this to Tricktrack part 1. Anyway, this is probably the best Slapton song I got (you'll know if this is case better than I do now), which is to say that it's fairly good despite basically everything about it

I like how it's strangely hopeful at the very beginning before transitioning into the Fallout motif.
