Im late to the party, but liberals seem really bad at realizing there are people who voted for Biden who never would have voted for someone more progressive. My extended family is super conservative, at least 5 people Ive talked to voted Democrat for the first time in their life, and all of them said it was super tough. Biden got lucky. Without covid Trump flips these margins, with a somewhat decent handling of covid he easily wins.
