Yeah, "queerbaiting" to me sounds like all those shows from the 90s/00s that would have two same-sex characters be overly friendly with each other and they would get tons of slash fics about them on fanfiction sites lol I think the logic might be it was acceptable back then because it was either that or nothing, but these days full LGBTQ+ romances in media is accepted so the past "queerbaiting" isn't relevant anymore.
