I'd have bought a razer blade but the gaming laptop I have went down to 1200 and I didn't need high end graphics. I was happy with a 2060

I'll be getting one tihs time since the school is more or less fine for running now so I have the downtime to game

Honestly, the 2060 is easily enough to max everything at 1080p at 60fps for years.

The jump in power requirements necessary to hit 4K created an interesting situation where mid-range GPUs can probably max everything for years at 1080p.

I'd say you're in exactly a type of situation where a gaming laptop makes sense.

If I didn't have to spend all night at the hospital most nights, I totally would've bought a desktop instead. But honestly, this is such an improvement over something like the Switch (which I also love, but it's not exactly the full current-gen gaming experience).

The game itself was serviceable but mostly mediocre, but the presentation was absolutely stellar. The story was awesome, too.

You really shouldn't have bought one

Yeah I know I hear the same thing every time about gaming laptops.

I still don't regret it. Being able to play any game I want, completely maxed out, above 60fps while on-call is worth it.

Most laptop chargers are unless they're low powered enough to take a USB-C like the asus one

I suspect the power draw requirements for a 2080 MQ (IIRC it's 90W to 115W) is probably too much.

...I've literally had to RMA the power adaptor TWICE.

It's ridiculous.

The laptop itself has aged like wine. Temperatures are manageable under full load and the good build quality paid off. But the power adapter thing is ridiculous. Even more ridiculous is that it's proprietary.

I am honestly thinking this is more likely deliberate clickbait.
To be completely honest, nobody knows who Sonya Blade is yet somehow doesn't know Chun Li is from Street fighter

Based on the way everything else is worded it seems like the author is being sort of satirical, but I don't really understand the purpose of it.
