TopicWow, have old Yugioh cards always been this valuable?
legendarylemur

YGO is a weird one where legacy cards are only insanely valuable if they're like Blue Eyes or Dark Magician (and Girl) or the LOB secret rares. There are other stuff like the Dark Duel Stories game's 3 card pack where all the cards there are worth like a thousand each maybe. But a lot of legacy cards aren't really valued that highly. They only actually go up in price if they see tournament use. Since there's no set rotation, people value the cards more for their competitive value, no matter how old.

Like I said though, there are exceptions but in general, modern YGO cards are actually worth more nowadays because of stuff like Ten Thousand Dragon being worth $1100+ that will actually be valued for its collector's value (in like 10 years, this card will probably be worth a shitton), and the Starlight rares which are rare due to being really difficult to pull and only available in the 1st edition print run

Most people in Master has toughness over 1 mil and DPS around 200k give or take 20k or so. There are crazy nutty ones with 1 mil toughness and 300k DPS or ones with 2 mil toughness and 150kish DPS though. My team is good against those excessively tanky teams but I can't really beat the full DPS teams or ones that clearly have like ultra decked out max LB wep for the whole team bs

TopicHighly recommend this game Gnosia for the Switch, a Werewolf VN/RPG

Werewolf games are all the rage, with Among Us at the helm. There are equally as many Werewolf game VNs that are generally survival horror, like Raging Loop, which is also absolutely excellent.

But Gnosia takes a different approach. It's basically a single player Werewolf game with random varying roles and crew and gnosias, which are the werewolves. You have people with widely varying "stats" like their ability to stay inconspicuous or their ability to convince others of what they think etc., or their ability to figure out logical deductions. You have your own stats that you can raise by playing the randomized werewolf game over and over, generally gradually becoming powerful enough to not be frequently targeted by the werewolf or be randomly voted off round 1. From this, you can gradually gather random special events or outcomes that happen if very specific conditions are met.

One other thing is that regardless of stats, gradually you'll start to pick up very very subtle behavior patterns of each of the crew members depending on what their role is. The game hints at a few behaviors, but it's hardly a comprehensive note on what each crew tends to do. Within the game itself, you also have to constantly counter arguments that happen in very basic repeated dialogues and gradually lead the crew to vote for the right person. But if you stand out too much, people will either suspect you or the gnosias will kill you, so there's a huge balancing act you have to do until you get better stats to really control the game singlehandedly

Of course in the background, there's an overarching story that's happening, where you're obviously trying to figure out why this looping werewolf game is happening and how you might go about solving it. Sometimes plot will be set up early, where a character gives you a certain condition, like keeping them alive or letting them purposely win games even though you know they're gnosias. By the end of the game, if you're successful, you'll be able to encounter a plot point. You can retry the same game as long as you keep the game settings the same, so it's ok to fail multiple times, as failing still gets you exp.

I think maybe after about a 100 loops (yeah... it honestly should take most players much more than 100 loops due to the randomness of the events) the stories you can find starts to wear a bit thin, and that's really the biggest problem with the game. You'll get insanely good at the game, but that also comes with a bit of frustration at the long wearing repetition. Also you're not gonna get a grand complicated story like Raging Loop had, which by comparison was just 3 games of werewolf with no randomness. But they constantly keep the intrigue up, and every time you get a special event that you don't see coming at all, it's shocking and sometimes frightening, sometimes utterly hilarious, though I would say the comedy scenes are a bit few in number, though very fucking funny, perhaps because the rest of the game is very doom and gloom.

Anyways, tl;dr, probably the best single player werewolf game RPG out there, if there even are any outside of Gnosia lols. Cool story, fun characters, interesting but sometimes repetitive gameplay, randomly vended scary/mysterious/funny events.

The next GT update adds Necromancer Girl Noxia, a dark support type using a basket called Purupuru.

Her thing is that she summons a minion to chase and attack enemies, and her basic attack is a ranged attack that also heals the minion, and her passives and chain skills all do things that strengthen the minion

legendarylemur

It's hard to describe my parents, but they are to some degree psychotic but for my mom, it's just kinda understandable. She's had a horrible abandoned childhood, lived super poor but went to a great college just to marry who would become a fucking loser. To make matters worse, my sister seemingly blames her for every single bad thing that's ever happened in her lucky ass comfortable life. It's just fucked, and I love her too much to abandon her just like my dad and my sister did, so I live with her and constantly deal with her.

But she is paranoid, and she still contacts my dad only to scream her lungs out at the next stupid shit he says. She reacts scared to every little noise, and I have to absolutely logically pat down every little thing she reacts to, to the point where I kinda grew up afraid to really do stuff in general, like go out and have fun or scream loudly in excitement when playing online with friends, which was what I did when I briefly lived on my own.

She's also had cancer and barely survived it, so I'm always in constant worry for her health because she's going through constant stress even now.

But yeah outside of that, she's basically been the kindest person in my life and provided me a lot of things that I appreciate, so I'm trying to bear some of the burden I guess

My dad meanwhile, don't want to go too much into detail, but he was neglectful, smoked, ran a failed company, lost our house, and then cheated on my mom. He does truck driving now, so I don't have to see him much, but on the rare occasion where he has to perch home for a few days, I basically don't leave my room.

And honestly I thought my household was normal til I talked to more people and realized just how bizarre and stressful my current situation is with my parents

Puzzle and Dragons NA managed to bring over the Monogatari collab. The collab that preceded it, Demon Slayer, could not make it here, but Monogatari licensing was probably far less acrid.

Made me spend some money... I'm on a really fucking big dry streak in PAD. Turns out spending money did it, and I rolled like 4 of the main girls in a row. Senjougahara, Suruga, Shinobu, and Nadeko. Nadeko in particular is considered one of the best leads in the game and will probably stay that way for some time due to various factors, like wood having some of the best transform subs in the game atm.

Meanwhile weekly gems in GT gave me 30 pulls in the weapon gacha... got shit, only one 5* which was Gabriel's weapon. I'm still FK's weapon-less. But the 900 weapon shard thing epic box gave me Mayreel, which let me advance my guardian level to max, finally

The tech is cool in theory but in reality it is anything but. Google cant get around the latency issue unless they put datacenters in every city including rural towns to keep the latency sub-3 or something. No way in hell they will do that so no way stadia or alternatives will ever be a viable gaming platform. This isnt even counting the atrocious drm laws and brands with exclusive deals etc
Yes, but Ouya was basically an expensive Android streaming device at the core, N-gage tech was too far behind and too non-standardized to work, and V-Boy had 2 colors and was extremely awkward to use. Compare to that, playing some high quality puzzle games at high latency is still preferable

Old fucks basically taking advantage of people signing up to do this out of passion. Also their extremely outdated monetization strategy for anime makes most of the actual anime viewing earnings go to the syndicate rather than the creators, and animes ultimately make up most of their profit off of selling blu-rays.

It's just doomed. They treat this shit so sacred that nobody's willing to really step up and change the process aside from a few generous and prosperous studios

Calculus is useful for proving how most things work as it approaches a certain number. I don't know for an absolute certainty, but since the inner volume must reach 0, the outside cannot be 0 because between 2 points, there must always be another point. Or something like that I'm just guessing.

Good combat system? I mean that's pushing it lol.

I'm sure you can find merits but RPGs nowadays are liked for how complex the strategies can become, and how easily accessible they are, with enemies that actually warrant using various strategies. FF15 combat is none of those things. FF7R was a similar system with some steps in the right direction, but in general the FF modern team has been on a constant miss in regards to real time combat
