There isn't anything you could put it in that wouldn't decompose at a microscopic level to some degree.

I mean, that's just not true. Silver or gold are extremely unreactive, non-toxic, and could absolutely theoretically store water for thousands of year without contaminating the water. There's other, more complex materials that could do similar.

If it was distilled then properly sealed and stored it could probably last for hundreds of years. In general, though, still water will stagnant due to microbes.

Matt is a legitimate HEMA instructor and a weapon historian. As in, he got his Bachelors in Medieval Archaeology and did his dissertation on 14th century armor. He's been a HEMA instructor since 2000 and has been at the forefront of a lot of study of the old manuals (The basis of HEMA).

Not because I take an account called SIMP seriously, but in case anyone is wondering what his credentials actually are. His channel is probably the best resource on the internet for people first getting into the study of historical equipment.

You arent even addressing the point at all. They would literally film themselves approaching these down and out people and waving cash in their face to entice them into it and use that as the intro like the beginning of a weird casting porn scenario.

Oh yeah, Street Beefs. Watch Icy Mike's fights, he's one of their ringers they bring in to knock blowhards down a peg. He's talked about some of his Street Beef fights as well on Hard2Hurt. His experience is pretty interesting if you want to hear the mindset of a modestly skilled dude entering into unregulated amateur fights against weirdos and fake martial artists.

Punching someone 9 times while he's being held down by two other officers is still far and away excessive force. The fact of the matter is, the use of injurious force by the police is only valid if the suspect is still a threat of serious harm to yourself or otherwise. The man is not a serious threat while both his legs and one of his shoulders are pinned to the concrete. He could have grabbed the man's arm or wrist at any point in the video. I would know. I've done live sparring and know the exact feeling and awareness someone would have, except, well, I've never had the benefit of two guys holding down my opponent as well. The only way you would NOT try to control his wrist or arm at that point is if you only care about one thing--Inflicting harm on the other person. The officer in those 10 seconds was not acting in self-defense, he was acting on anger and vengeance.

How many free punches are cops supposed to be allowed? Because I counted... 9 as the dude laid there before the officer even tried to help restrain him.

Also, as someone who has trained a couple years of BJJ, if you start saying the punches were necessary to restrain him you have utterly pathetic standards.

FWIW I agree with this. "Morally right" is objective. Our understanding of it or how we act on moral decisions is what shifts. But what was wrong at 15 is still wrong at 25 or whatever.
