So how it works is you pay for it, then the celeb has a set time to accept the request. If that time passes, the request is automatically cancelled and you get your money back. Anyway MEE didnt accept the request timely, so the request was cancelled. A day or 2 after the cancellation, however, she sent a message saying she was busy, really sorry, and was going to do the Cameo anyway. So basically, I got it for free. She gave a listing of charities that she supported in the event I wanted to make a donation in lieu of the Cameo fee, but there was no pressure at all. So yeah, super nice lady. Not sure how often that happens and if other celebs are as generous, but I was happy and would definitely do it again. --- |
