It can take like 18 hours for me to download a modern game with my internet. And thats if we don't use the internet at all during that time. It's too much of a hassle for anything bigger than maybe 20 GB.

The convenience is nice sometimes though.

It's basically the only time I would feel comfortable with pirating, especially if it's a long abandoned series. They clearly do not want your money as there is no way for you to give it to them.

Every time I saw that golden statue from the cpac event earlier this year I really wanted to pee on it. I've never felt that way about anything and it still sounds very satisfying.

Once. Had an exposure with symptoms. Needed a negative test to return to work. Tested negative. Got 6 days off from work paid which was nice.

I've only ever dated people I was friends with first. That took a lot of that awkwardness away. But I'm a very private person so I would struggle a lot if I dated someone I didn't already know well because it takes me a very long time to open up with people (months up to a year), and that's people I see all the time (like coworkers). Once I've crossed that threshold and open up I tend to be a fairly different person than what they'd seen before that.

The private guarded person that people initially get to know from me is very boring and stiff and it would be very difficult to get or keep the attention of a love interest if I was like that for a while. If I hadnt started dating my wife when I did I think I'd just have been single for the rest of my life. Making friends with women hasn't really been a thing since I finished college.

I got one about 2 years ago for having a headlight out. It's the only ticket I've gotten in 11 years of driving and the only time I've been pulled over. I got it fixed the next day and got the ticket canceled.

I liked that the final form isn't nessesarily the best choice for monsters since you need one of each size.

This is a stupid question.

There is quite literally, a finite amount of wealth in the world. When the super rich hoard massive amounts on cash instead of spending it (or say, paying taxes) it makes everyone else poorer. As they continue to accumulated wealth and buy up land and property the opportunities for others shrink.

My favorite is Skies of Arcadia

I played it about 6 years ago. I enjoyed it enough to finish it but I dont really get the hype from the fans. It was kind of generic.

It was kind of a weird time in my life though. It was shortly after getting married and my wife lost her job while I was in the last 1/5 of the game. I was so bummed out I just kind of turned it off and lost like 2 or 3 hours of progress. Took me a whole to be motivated enough to get back to it.

Yeah it really sucked knowing I'd be making more if I got laid off. That's not the case anymore (largish raise about 3 months ago) but I'd l love a break from the workplace and time to work on myself while collecting UI.

My job is essential though so we would never stop having work. I work in a group home with adults with disabilities. It's been a bad year trying to explain the pandemic to this population.

I think its more than that. She never feels like she grows as a character. I'm on season 6 I think.

I basically agree with what you said that there are no bad characters, but I think she's the least good character. A lot of Gina moments have been great but some just make her appear like a trash character.

I heard fireworks nonstop from about 7pm til about 3am on the 4th. There are at least a dozen houses on my small street that just set them off constantly all summer and Amp it up like crazy on the 4th.

I largely didn't enjoy the game. I beat it, but it was mostly because I kept hoping it would get better.

I'd probably have liked it better if it was more similar to the first game (like using monsters and locations more directly from it) instead of it being vague pointless references to the first one.

I usually agree. Great voice acting can really pull the experience together. And then there are messes like Trails of Cold Steel 4 where mid cutscene the voice acting cuts in and out because only one character is voiced in the scene (what were they thinking?)

I find it distracting when there is Japanese only voice acting as well, though I've gotten over that in recent years.

I find it weird that Thanos took the universe's greatest craftsman to make the infinity glove, but Tony Stark made a working duplicate overnight with a box of scraps.

It was a functional but nonperfect substitute. At least thats how it appeared to me. I think if it was perfect Hulk could have wielded it without pain/damage (using it would have still crippled it as it did).

I'm not really sure why they like to have rock as the first gym other than for nostalgia reasons. The main argument I could see would be because so many early pokemon you can have early are normal types and normal moves, but you also have 2/3 of the starters being super effective. Both torchic and chimchar gain fighting which also helps.
