The closest to a jobber is probably Yamcha. The audience isn't intended to invest in him, and he's an easy character for any minion or mook to beat up to prove a point. Tien is the next closest. Note that Canadian Whisky (no "e") is often called Rye Whisky, but many modern ones don't actually use much, if any, rye anymore.

Saying that, though, I turned back to drink in a time of crisis and I've let it get the better of me once again.
