If its my sister? Same thing except instead of a Megazord I want her Nintendo 64.

The phrase "living life" is often associated with various experiences/memories and creating bonds/relationships.

To add my own twist to your logic: Living life is just waiting to die, but with value

Value is in the eye of the beholder.

WalMart calls its toilet paper great value but we all know thats not true.

TopicOne thing I think video game movies tend to fail at
AlisLandale

Yeah, the source material isn't paced to be a satisfying story without player interactivity. But it's also critical to property's appeal.

Like, in Mass Effect, part of the experience for new starting players is exploring the Citadel and getting acquainted with this galactic civilization. But a movie isn't going to have time to piecemeal the world-building through NPCs, sidequests, and general exploration. The Warcraft movie had this problem where they gave us these grand set-pieces, but unless you were already a fan of the series, it was all just random fantasy doodles out of context.

Then the story itself is predicated on the meta-assumption that a player is going to want to continue the adventure to finish the game. But Movie Shepherd isn't playing a game and doesn't know they need certain party members. They'd need to establish, for example, who Garrus is and why he's important enough to get for the mission. Player Shepherd's motivation is "new party member = better gameplay experience". Movie Shepherd needs something more compelling to convince an audience this arc is worth watching.

In a lot of ways, a video game adaptation is essentially writing from scratch. Because the very foundations of why the main characters act lead to very janky screenplays if directly adapted. But you can't just scrap it all, because a lot of these characters and arcs are what made the original game so fun and compelling in the first place.

DC really likes pushing this guy. Shows up in tons of media since his introduction. Always gets a solo series whenever DC has a reboot (even though said solo series rarely lasts more than a year or two).

But he just hasnt seemed to make it in the popular superhero consciousness. Whats wrong with the character?

(I mean I like Ted Kord better, but still, Jaimie is cool. <_<)

Its the far future. Technology has reached new heights. By utilizing user data farmed from social media, credit card purchases, etc, corporations can compile an AI replica of any existing person with perfect accuracy. And with ever more affordable cybernetics, fully-detailed androids can be produced to house those AIs. Furthermore, users can specify any modifications to the AI personality. Essentially, with the click of a button, you can order a customized robot clone of any person that existed and Amazon will deliver it to you with same day shipping.

In this hypothetical world, lets say your crush rejected you. Would it be unethical/immoral to make a robot clone of your crush that would love you?

Yeah, very few cartoons have characters age beyond "here's a birthday episode, you're turning 9! For the 10th time!"

Heck, the only cartoons I can think of are the few that are plot centric, and usually the characters are old enough that their designs don't change much, barring a multi-year timeskip between series such as what Ben 10 did

to be fair, I cant think of many anime that do this, either. Dragonball is a bit unique in that regard.

even with Dragonball though, the only major that noticeably ages without significant time skips is Gohan. (By the Buu saga Chichi is in full milf territory though)
