i'd consider most tales games a 5/10: something i'd play when i'm in the mood for it but ultimately not consider it anything more than junk food

the show has a lot of lazy racist, ablest, sexist, etc jokes but there's no meaning behind them (though the aggressive, specific targeting can definitely be a bit problematic)

are you referring to the first two? the mainstream ones are just like every smt where you apply your overpowered buffs and debuffs an then you start spamming your strongest skill that can hit a weakness, or you alternate between charge/concentrate and your attack

Super Mario Party is clearly meant for shorter games

due to pacing issues 10 turns in super mario party can be about as long as 15 in the gamecube era, though i don't like how no games in the series come close to 3's speed besides 2
