You do know conservative is a political philosophy as well as a party right?

Yep, and I'm only arguing that the majority of people don't support the Conservative party.

I believe you have and are still doing so and have demonstrated it.

You can believe whatever you want, it doesn't make it true. And in this case it's false.

Gaslighting, lying, downplaying, demeaning critics, changing the subject

These are all forms of defense. And you know it

Good thing I've done none of those.

3. most of the UK does support the conservatives party, at least did until they started accepting vaccines and lockdowns as viable

Ah, so you admit that most people in the UK don't support the Conservative party? Good to see you agree with me.

,So your argument has now become "I know you were right and I was wrong but I wanna argue semantics!

Nope, my argument was, and still is that the majority of people in the UK don't support the Conservative party.

Well at least you acknowledged that I was right I suppose

Actually I didn't. I recommend you brush up on your reading skills. I said it doesn't matter whether people don't support the Conservative because they think the Conservative party is too conservative or not conservative, is irrelevant. That isn't claiming you were right at all.

Not really? At least not in the way you're misleading people to think

The Senate, Congress and presidential elections all demonstrate that right wing bullshit is a minority view In the US

The election in THE UK demonstrates that they are a big majority in the UK.

This means the problems aren't comparable.

In the US the problem is a non representative electoral system that allows minority views to dominate

In the UK the majority view is right wing nuts.

You keep lying as obfsucsting that fact , then pretend you're not defending it

Right Wing =/= Supports the Conservative party.

Nothing I have said is dishonest or hypocritical.

Yes you have, you've claimed multiple times that I've defended lockdown protesters when I've don't no such thing. You've also accused me of gaslighting you, while you gaslighted me. That's dishonesty and hypocrisy.

Meanwhile you have denied facts and attacked any criticism of these kind of views on increasingly bizarre ways while actively refusing to decry them

I've not attacked any criticism of those kinds of views at all. All I've said is that the majority of people in the UK don't support the Conservative party.

? This isn't the point you think it is

It's exactly the point I think it is.

"The conservative party not being conservative enough for millions show that the UK isn't conservative..."

That's not, and never has been my claim. Yay for more gaslighting from you. My claim was, and still is that the majority of people in the UK don't support the Conservative party. Whether they don't support them because they think the Conservative party is too conservative or not conservative, is irrelevant to the fact they don't support the Conservative party.

This Is so wishy washy

"I Didn't defend them, I just refused to condemn them and then lied about how widespread they are and aggressively attacked the people who are condemning them with lies and gaslighting to massively downplay the problem"

Pointing out you are being dishonest and being hypocritical isn't attacking you, when you are being dishonest and being hypocritical. Also I've literally made no claims what so ever about how widespread lockdown protesters are, so I've certainly not lied about how common they are. You are literally gaslighting me in this very post while accusing me of gaslighting you.

Yeah thats defending them,

Good thing that's not what I've done.

1. They don't think they are right wing enough

Ah, so you agree that they don't support them?

"So George Floyd had a fake $20 right?" I'm just asking questions!"

If you're not defending them you might to want to ask why your actions are 98% in line with exactly what someone defending them would do

Oh? I'd think someone who wanted to defend them would in-fact defend them.

They got a majority of the seats (huge majority) and a massive plurality of the votes, while right wing nonsense got a massive majority of the votes

I like how you avoided answering my question.

Again, not comparable to Trump/Biden (which was your original point you now try to hide) where it was a 2 way choice between those people

Uh, no my original point wasn't to compare them. I compared them to support my original point, which was, and still is, that you are either being dishonest or don't know what you are talking about. That's why I started my post by saying "You either don't know what you are talking about, or are being deliberately disingenuous.". If my original point was just to compare them, I'd have just posted the number of votes for each, and left it like that.

Also you are literally comparing the 2019 UK general election to the 2020 US Presidential election, so clearly they are comparable.

JE91210 is defending them

Once again you are being dishonest. I've never once defended lock down protesters. Not once. All I have stated is that your claim that the majority of people support the Conservatives isn't true.

No, 57.6% voted for another (of many) parties, including other right wing parties

Other right wing parties aren't the Conservatives. Why would someone who supports the Conservatives vote for a party besides the Conservatives in the general election?

Leading to a huge conservative majority government and mass support of the people

It lead to a huge conservative majority government, but it doesn't lead to mass support of the people.

Stop being intellectually dishonest

That's pretty funny coming from the person who in this very same post claimed I'm defending lock down protesters when I've done no such thing. Once again hypocrisy be thy name.

Position hasn't changed, both statements are true, conservatives dominated the election with a huge 80 seat majority, most of the population supports them,

If most of the population supports them, why didn't they win the majority of votes?

And ironically in doing so, totally prove my point

Pointing out your claim is wrong, doesn't prove your point at all, it's the exact opposite of proving your point.

"Hyper literally the conservative party only got a a massive plurarity of the popular vote in a 7+ way split and the majority of the seats, not a majority of the popular vote!" doesn't change that most of the population is right wing and voted for right wing governments and supports them

Lol, I love how you claim I'm being dishonest, yet you've completely moved the goal posts from "The majority of people support Boris Johnson and the Conservative Party" to "the majority is right wing and voted for right wing governments". Hypocrisy be thy name.

They can. But unlike America that's not what happened here

Actually it's exactly what happened with the 2019 UK general election. That's how the Conservatives won even though 57.6% of voters, voted against them.

I don't think they support anything English but they support right wing nonsense. The stuff we're all talking about throughout this topic, the bigotry the anti-science etc. All the stuff you're desperately trying to pivot the topic discussion from,

Dude, you are the one who decided to claim that the majority of people supported the Conservatives and Boris Johnson, not me.

Going "Well it's SNP or UKIP or Brexit Party or some christian lunatic right MP, not conservative party so therefore it's not majority right!" to try and trick foreign users is supporting that agenda whether you intend to or not.

Good thing I never said any of those things then.

My position is unchanged. A majority of the UK population believes the nutty shit, the conservatives domianated the vote with a huge majority of seats and the population is right wing.

Except for the fact your original position was that the people love the Conservatives, not that the majority of the UK population believes the nutty shit. Your position literally has changed, and you are literally being dishonest and claiming otherwise.

That's because you're intentionally dishonest as fuck in an intentional way to try to trick people who don't know better.

No, I'm not.

That's hyperliterally "A plurality not a majority for the conservative party" in the popular vote but a majority of seats and a majority attitude of the general population. And in the popular vote most people wanted their local government to be right wing

A majority of seats is not in anyway a majority of attitude of the general population. If the majority of people wanted their local government to be Conservatives the Conservatives would have got more than 43.6% of the vote. They didn't, therefore the majority of people didn't want their local government to be Conservatives.

By your logic to be comparable to Trump, Labour should have got 56% of the vote. Instead it got it's lowest popular vote since 1935.

Not at all, the very fact the UK has multiple parties means one of them can be disliked by the majority of people and still win the election.

On top of this, nearly all the opposition to conservatives didn't come from England. It came from the Scottish Nationalist Party who slew the vote in Scotland and they are far from left wing.

Who cares if they are left wing or not? Your claim was that the majority of people support Boris Johnson and the Conservatives. Do you really think the Scottish Nationalist Party supports Boris Johnson and the Conservatives? Of course they don't.

The UK is majority right wing. You trying to take advantage of slippery wording or taking advantage of people's ignorance doesn't change that

Your statement was that the majority of people support the Conservatives and Boris Johnson. That's untrue, trying to change the goal posts to "the UK is right wing" doesn't make the majority of people support the Conservatives and Boris Johnson true.

Trump has never been popular with the majority. Ever. He got killed in both popular votes and only became President because of an archaic system. Most people hate him. From day 1 to today, the majority of the US hates Donald Trump and everything he stood for.

This simply is not true of the UK. The conservatvies have an 80 seat majority. They dominate every election. The majority of the population at large loves and supports them. And this is from a system with multiple parties unlike the US.

You either don't know what you are talking about, or are being deliberately disingenuous. The Conservative Party in the 2019 election got 43.6% of the vote. That's a lower percentage of people that voted for Trump in the 2020 Presidential election (46.8%). Given this fact, I don't think it makes any sense to say that the majority of people in the UK love Johnson, while the majority in the US hate Trump.

It was actually Doctor Doom who kidnapped their kids, although it was after their kids stuck on board an X-Men ship. Which is a stupid point, because that's just describing what a character arc is; a character changing based on the events in the narrative.

No, his complaint was that Squall changes out of nowhere unless you choose the dialogue options that have him warm up. The issues are that the friendly "out of character" choices that warm him up, are just that choices you make. It'd be fine if their were difference to the story based on your choices, if Squall warms up if you choose the options for him to warm up, or stays cold if your choose the options that are cold. But the game doesn't do that he ultimately warms up and the only difference your choices make are how out of nothing it is.
