If this happened now, you'd get "Well it's not that important!", "It's mostly cosmetic", "lol just get a job", "You don't have to buy it", etc. Hey now, horse armour wasn't cosmetic, it made the best horse in the game worse. |

JE19426 03/28/21 7:48:41 AM #8 | DeadBankerDream posted... Isn't that the game that has costume dlc that totals at like double or tripple the retail price of the game itself? Yes, it is, at least on Steam it's more than 3x the cost of the base game. To be fair the total includes buying all the DLC separately, and the Season Pass even though the Season Pass contains all the DLC. The Season Pass is slightly more than the price of the base game. |

I'm not saying it's a good thing, I'm just saying that in terms of storytelling, that's better. How does an ultra-secret supernaturally powered group reproduces by kidnapping and murdering men, and than selling their male children make more sense than a group of immortal woman made by a god? They are both nonsensical. |

JE19426 03/17/21 9:07:15 AM #50 | 008Zulu posted... What's the difference between 'Persona 5', and 'Persona 5 Strikers' already available on PC? "Persona 5" is the sixth main game in the Persona series, like the rest of the series (well expect for the two 2 games), it's a turn-based JRPG set in fictional version of modern day Japan feature a new cast of characters a unrelated to the previous main games. Persona 5 Strikers is a direct sequel to Persona 5 with the same main characters, with a couple of new ones, furthermore it plays more like a Warriors game, being more of an ARPG than Persona 5. |

JE19426 03/16/21 7:06:38 AM #38 | MildEnergy posted... Can you? Mind you, most of the developing world do not have access to doctors and are disproportionately young. I don't know why you are bringing up the the developing world, when the study only deals with the US's issues. The US can certainly help deal the the nutrients deficiencies issues. For instance they can encourage the fortification of vegan milk alternatives as currently happens in regards to milk. |

JE19426 03/16/21 6:59:51 AM #4 | I'm surprised they are having it take place in the 1960s. Wasn't the big thing about the original Wonder Years that each episode was set exactly 20 years before the air date? I assumed that'd be what they do, so it starts in 1991 and goes forward from there. |

JE19426 03/16/21 6:53:02 AM #36 | MildEnergy posted... https://www.pnas.org/content/114/48/E10301 According to that (controversial) total food production would be up by 23%, while agricultural GHG emission would be down by 28%. Getting more food while emitting less GHG gases seems like a reasonable trade off, if you can solve the nutrients deficiencies issues. Using total GHG emission is pretty unfair given how little of the total is agricultural in origin. |

JE19426 03/11/21 8:35:43 AM #59 | Pome posted... Why are sodas in liters In the 1970s the US Federal Government decided to the country should change to the metric system. They never really allocated much money to do so and cancelled it during the early 1980s, so it'd didn't have much of an effect. Coincidently however during the 1970s major US soda producers switched from glass bottles to plastic ones due to it being cheaper. Given that they expecting to be forced to use the metric system they decided to switch to it early instead of buying new equipment to make glass bottles and then buying another set later to make plastic bottles. |

Topic | I bought the new Harvest Moon that came out today |
JE19426 03/03/21 6:25:22 AM #16 | GiftedACIII posted... What's story of seasons then? In Japan the series is called "Bokuj Monogatari", which translates to "Farm Story". When Natsume licensed the first games for an English release, they decided "Farm Story" was a dumb name so they renamed it to "Harvest Moon", because they are the ones who created the name "Harvest Moon" it's there intellectual property even if the original games aren't. From the release of "Harvest Moon" for the SNES back in 1997, until the release of "Harvest Moon 3D: A New Beginning" it didn't matter as Natsume published the original English version of all the games, and called them all "Harvest Moon". In 2014 "Bokuj Monogatari: Tsunagaru Shin Tenchi" was released in Japan, it was still called "Bokuj Monogatari" as the same company was making it as all the other games. However when "Bokuj Monogatari: Tsunagaru Shin Tenchi" was released in English it was published by Xseed, since the name "Harvest Moon" was Natsume's IP, Xseed couldn't use it, so they called it "Story of Seasons", Xseed has also published all the other games since in the "Bokuj Monogatari". Natsume, decided not the let their IP go to waste and developed there own "Harvest Moon" games, themselves which are the same kind of game as the "Bokuj Monogatari" series. |
