Medussa posted... without getting all into it, it's not been a great last year-18 months. i don't really want to leave, and i do really like it here (besides the days i'm forced out into the snow, anyway). but i've lost most of the ties actually keeping me here. but, hoping for some positive changes in the next couple weeks, so we'll see how far that leads.Look on the bright side! If you've lost your ties there, it'll be even easier to move on and not feel like you're leaving something behind. It's like a push in a different direction that you need to make a positive change that's clear and something you'd want to do. But if you still like living there despite the lack of connections, you can always make new ones and see if that's enough to keep you grounded there. --- |

It's my super special day today so I'm hoping for lots of well wishes from all you lovely people! So, my plans are as follows: I'm gonna go to this semi-small chain media store around where I live to see if I can find a game or something I want since I'll get a birthday discount. Then I might get lunch somewhere. Next I plan on playing a little Rock Band with the bf. I think it'll be naptime after that. I really wanna play D&D, but I'll need a bit of refresh since we haven't played in a few weeks. Finally, we're going to the casino to have fun and enjoy the atmosphere! Sounds pretty great, huh? It was supposed to be a three person party, but the other person dropped out because of work so it's just me and my boyfriend. Ugh, my friend did this to me last year, too. I guess I'm not inviting him out for this kinda thing again. It'll still be fun with just the two of us, but it would have been nice to have all three of us. What do you think of my plans? Any suggestions? It's gonna be a rockin' good time!! --- |
