tbf, when Disney tried to do something new with Star Wars, everyone spent YEARS complaining about how it completely ruined everything about the series. Its still going on if the topic comes up.

I can't really blame them for deciding to just pull a ton of OT nostalgia.

Though Peter is too definitely in a relationship with Mary Jane to be dating Gwen when she dies (though they could still do it). And we could still have a Goblin, people just don't know its Norman Osbourne yet (but this also means his time as Spidey's nemesis would be fairly minimized)

Though that might not work well, considering based on when the PS4 game takes place, Gwen's been dead for like 10 years.

Skyward Sword is the only 3D Zelda I've flat out never touched, so I might pick it up eventually. Almost definitely not Day 1 though, and probably used or on sale.

Certain games I'll intentionally play on the lowest (or lower) difficulty.

If its like a story based game, I won't bother playing harder than normal difficulty. Because I'm not there for the gameplay, I'm there for the story. Or Horror games. Because I lose so much interest in the tension if I die every 5 seconds, only to go 5 seconds backwards. If playing on Normal or Easy means I die less, I'll be on edge way more.

If the game is intentionally difficult (a la Dark Souls or Cuphead) than sure, that's fine, you don't need an "easy" difficulty on every game, but playing a game on the lower difficulty certainly isn't a bad thing.

If I dig my PS2 out I still use it, although I can't often because I broke the start/select button.

Just rented it on Disney+ a couple hours ago. Wasnt horrible, but it didnt really feel like a marvel movie. Had the underdeveloped bad guys, the bombastic set pieces and silly one liners and banter, but I dunno, I guess cause you know shes already dead there really isnt anything at stake. It felt like more of a made for Netflix action movie than a huge summer blockbuster. It may have been better in the theater, but not much.

I think the problem with that is it was a MCU movie and it came out after her character died.

Its basically a side story, so it doesn't really matter that its a prequel and you know she dies eventually, but this wouldn't be an issue if it either came out before Endgame or wasn't an MCU movie (which I mean, change some names around and it becomes a generic summer action blockbuster)

I think it also suffers from some bad CGI that isn't usually prominent in these movies. Things like the avalanche scene or the ship blowing up I thought just looked awful.

It was... fine. Its nowhere near as bad a movie as it gets a rep for, but its drawn out and kind of awkward.

You can really tell that they blew the money on the star-studded voice cast, and they don't really fit any of the characters. Like how a bad animated movie lives off of starring Oprah or something.

So Natasha and her sister are talking about the murders they've done, and there's just some guy absent-mindedly sitting in the bodega while they do it.

Its not very big, he can obviously hear them.

Before he went to jail he was doing speaking tours about how evil "cancel culture" is.

True. But Xbox getting rid of it now would probably be a big deal, now that Playstation and Switch both charge for multiplayer as well. A good PR move if they can handle losing all the extra money.

Though its also worth mentioning that Palpatine was given total authority in the first movie, and kept it until Revenge of the Sith before dissolving the senate and making himself emperor, so everyone was really resting on their laurels on that one.

I think the gameplay is great. Not a lot of single player stuff. Online isn't good. It's a good game to get on sale.

This. I think there's a decent amount of single player content (especially by fighting game standards) but its still pretty limited.

The single player mode is basically you go through the major storyline with each character, doing a handful of battles with each of them and some really basic context (basically random characters talk to each other, and you move onto a fight). I think its enjoyable enough.

On the other hand, it also has AI vs AI versus mode, which makes it among my favourite fighting games.

Do not currently have an iPhone, but am debating getting an iPhone when I replace my current phone.

I've heard lots of good (and bad) things about the "Apple Ecosystem", but it seems to revolve around the iPhone, so even if I have an iPad and a MacBook, I don't have a ton of connectivity.

Though if the rumours are true of them getting rid of the ports altogether are true, then **** it not worthwhile.

Canada is finally getting everyone vaccinated and is starting to recover after the ****show some of our provinces (Ontario) handled Covid. If the border opens we'll just get another million idiots who don't want a vaccine and think they can go around coughing on people.

There's some kind of bug relating to the EA launcher when you have all the DLC that just prevents the game from properly launching. Like... at all.

There is a pretty easy workaround though, but it doesn't seem like the bug has actually been fixed.

The DLC is fantastic though, if you're considering it you should 100% buy the Frontier Pass.

Its so weird that "not acting like an idiot with stupid off the cuff remarks" or "I'll refer to my notes because I have a lot of things going on" is apparently a symbol that Biden isn't fit for office.

I think its a bad idea for a lot of these CW shows to go for like 10 seasons. Like, its aimed towards teenagers who are like, in high school but not in college. That's max like 4 years you've got your demographic excited before they move on to other things. Going 9 seasons is just asking for the show to fall off a cliff once the first group of teenagers age out.

I don't know, by the time he got to AEW, Broken Matt was like 5 years old and it was just... like, really dated.

Big Money Matt is one of the best parts of AEW going on right now too, its so much better than Broken Matt would be now.

I'd heard people expecting the handheld Switch to be able to do 4K... in handheld. It was bonkers. Can a 7 inch screen even do 4K?

But for a not much higher price, Ethernet, OLED, more storage and a better kickstand are a good buy. Not really worthwhile for anyone who still has a switch, but still. If you're getting one, might as well buy the better one now.
