So it would still be allowed, but limited to only near the end of the round. That could work. What happens if a round is so slow that it doesn't even reach that far and stalls with like 12-15 left unsaved?

Well I guess I'd play it by ear allow it then. But like you said, it would be a trial run for the next contest.

My idea is no vote trading until 3 saves are needed and not until there's a certain number left in a round. Like 10 left for the earlier rounds, and 5 left for the later. That way, if your character is still there, you can ask for trades to help them.
