I guess I made it a lot further in the past than I thought, because I just played a ton and am STILL not quite to where I am in my furthest save file. I don't think it was my brother's, because I do remember some of this stuff. That being said, I just got to a point where I have to go through a fairly lengthy segment with no saving and at the end is a boss that absolutely destroyed me, so I'm a little frustrated right now. The only issue I have ever had with it is that sometimes it doesn't read games and I have to reinsert them, which happened to my N64 as it aged too. But last night it did something new. It froze on me twice. Once during the startup screen (with the warnings and stuff) and once during a game (during a black screen when returning to a menu). I'd sure hate for it to go now and would rather it hang on a while longer. Aside from being my GBA as well (I don't even know if my old GBA works anymore, I haven't touched it in well over a decade and even if it does it isn't backlit and that sucks), it holds some sentimental value as it was a gift from my parents. --- darkx Games beaten in 2021 - 24; Most recent - We Love Katamari

Topic	Rate the VG Story Day 28: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Underleveled 06/23/21 6:50:31 PM #6	10 This is a top 5 game for me and the story and characters are a huge part of that. They perfectly made this a cross between a new adventure for Drake and a continuation of the first one. The villains are the best in the series. The relationship between Nate and Elena is fantastic, even compared to the rest of the series. It's got a perfect three-act structure without any dull moments. Everything either furthers the story or the character development. It's got lots of twists and turns, like Elena returning and Chloe's loyalty leaving you guessing until the end. The final cutscene is one of my favorite game endings ever, maybe even my favorite - it's nothing grand or anything but it just nicely wraps up one adventure nicely and leaves you itching for the next one. If I had ONE gripe it would be not enough Sully. But that's it.
