Without dem Balldron Pauldrons her head looks like, like, an ant-head or something... put some antennae on it! And, oddly enough, they adjusted this weirdness a few times... most notably in Metroid FUSION. Ya, by widening the helmet down into the shoulders. But that wasn't 3D... except it technically was, Metroid Prime let you do a link up to use the Fusion Suit and it looks pretty decent in 3D --- "Salt cures Everything!"
