I beat Resident Evil Village. It's 7 on steroids. Loved it. There seem to be mixed feelings on how the last couple hours of that game go but I was all in on the wackiness that ensued. Fighting Heisenberg in his giant mech form with your makeshift tank is awesome!! The final boss is also pretty cool. Ethan being a mold man who was dead all along is....something. So you're telling me Mia fucked a corpse?

Yeah I like the Factory. I actually don't care much for Moreau's section. I think that part is the weakest part of the game. Still, the game is a damn rollercoaster of thrills and horror.

It doesn't have this always present sense of dread 7 has, but 8 makes up for that by having so many different environments, more enemy types, and better bosses. Also the weapon variety is a lot higher in this one. The game is pretty consistent in quality even if the horror kinda peaks with the second Monarch. I'm fucking ready for RE9 whenever it happens. Damn I guess I like this franchise now.
