I go on fasts once in a while. Made me realize how much people actually eat. Usually people crap all the energy out of the body before your stomach converts it. You could probably survive on like 800 calories a day.

If you play to 100% completion, its a good deal longer. If you are just playing to beat the game, Id say its comparable to FF7 in length.

Oh I see, I didn't realize it was actually somewhat big. Always had the notion that it was like a 24 hour game. I've seen my friends play in middle school and it always seemed so easy.

RTS is ususally more 1 on 1 so it's somewhat of an unfair comparison. I'd say the skill ceiling is much higher for an RTS though. Like if they made an AI for Overwatch chances are it will beat the best human team. For an RTS, more unlikely.

The entire point is that now they're a multiverse, there is no singular TVA now. That's why mobius and B15 are there like nothing happened and the building doesn't look in disarray. Loki was sent to another timeline

So... there would be one TVA per universe, to keep the order of the timeline, but only one Kang overseeing the sacred timeline universe and the entirety of all the other universe's TVAs? Or are there other Kangs looking over other TVAs in their respective universes, but the Kang that was just killed was the supreme Kang that looked over them all?

Okay now I'm legit confused. The mechanics and setting of this new MCU phase is confusing af.

I don't understand the last scene. Isn't the TVA supposed to be in a unique plane of existence where they could only be only one of it? If there were multiple TVAs it would mean that there are multiple Kangs who wanted peace. But Kang just declared that he was the only one that was keeping the multiverse from going wack. Or maybe the one male Loki was sent to was a lower level TVA?

The show makes use of a lot of philosophical ideas, so in a way I guess you can say it's for smart people, but if you know the philosophical references it's just an edgy show and not much else. The biggest theme in the show is Schopenhauer's philosophical pessimism. Existence is pain, supremacy of will, etc.

@UnfairRepresent

I don't think you've really understood what Craig was saying there. Subjective morality means that morality does not have an underlying foundation. Morality working under pluralistic conditions is bound to have some foundational conflicts, making it inferior than objective morality. It doesn't make it flawed, but it certainly has a weaker foundation than objective morality. Does this make theism more credible? Not really, unless you hold morality to some kind of value. But if you actually take a disposition, whether that be atheism or theism, this would subsequently mean that you either hold morality to a type of standard- or you do not.

So in a way you are arguing two things here: that subjective morality is flawed but that this doesn't inform theism in any way, and that morality has some kind of value. But if morality has some kind of value, who or what is informing us of it?

There's a reason why there are professional philosophers of religion who debate this stuff.

if you say so

It was hardly Hitchens best outing and he still won pretty easily imo.

Craig literally used "Well lots of people feel like God exists " as an argument that God exists
"The lord works mysterious ways" as the answer to the problem of evil

and openly defended the notion of doing immoral things by the definition of man because God has objective morality.... The same logic that justified genocide and slavery

And this is before you get onto the timing of Jesus intervention and nonsense probability statistics claptrap

It was immensely unpersuasive and poorly reasoned. You can tell he's used to preaching to a group who already believe this shit rather than people who actually listen to what he is saying.

I really doubt you saw the whole thing. The moral arguments Craig makes goes inadequately answered. Craig asks if morality can be objective without God, and Hitchens never goes around to answering it. It doesn't mean God exists, but it undermines any moral authority atheism might have, which makes theism a better moral choice.

I remember Sam Harris taking a crack at William Lane Craig some years later, but he fails to answer the same question either.

Now that I think about it, *minor future theory spoilers* I'm betting the NYC shown is a pruned reality where Loki and the Chitauri won during the first Avengers - this is most likely a Sakaar-esque dumping ground of pruned alternate timelines, so everything from variants to Slyvie's toy viking ship end up here.

tbh I don't really like reading or contributing to theorizing since it usually ends up ruining the fun, but this is a pretty minor observation and I wanted to write it down on the off chance that I'm right.

That's a pretty good theory. Makes you wonder why Old Loki said you better hurry up in that scene.

You probably shouldn't be watching Marvel movies if you can't understand the timeline stuff.

Loki died already in the main timeline, but in the main timeline the Avengers go into an alternative timeline where Loki is still alive to get the Space Stone. This Loki gets away using the Space Stone. The Avengers, Cap and Ironman go into another timeline, or perhaps another era in that same timeline (we don't know for sure) to get the Space Stone and go back to their own, main timelines.

The Loki as we know in the main timeline is dead and gone. The one we get in the show is like a regressed Loki, just how Gomora is past, regressed Gomora. The Loki we have now isn't someone from the main timeline/universe. He doesn't necessarily have to die, nor is there a Thanos from that timeline, if you want to be nitpicky with it.

I've said it before, maybe in middle school. But generally I think it's pretty afro-centric, the logic behind the usage. No one ethnicity has a monopoly on a certain word.. I just find that concept ridiculous. Dont see how it should be offensive when literally thousands upon thousands of people died so that the institution of slavery would be dismantled. It's just taking the American Civil War and the deaths in that war in vain. Taking down racism doesn't start with controlling how someone acts, it happens when one side opens up for reconciliation.
