This. I'd be happy if my dog chased off a burglar but killing them is pretty crazy. Also now I'm probably getting sued by the family of the burglar as people seem to try that even if they're in the wrong.

Watched the first Mieruko episode last night. I have a feeling that the creators really wanted to show something off other than just the ghosts.

I definitely want it, Team Ninja developed it and they also made Nioh 2 which is one of my favorite games of all time. Not sure if it's the exact same dev team though.

I finally finished a couple of anime I've been watching for a while: Fist of the North Star and Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card.

I actually finished FOTNS like three weeks ago, and only the first 109 episode series. Despite having tons of filler and recap episodes, I enjoyed the series quite a bit. The scenes of Ken wrecking people using Hokuto Shinken miraculously never got old or less fun to watch, despite happening multiple times an episode for over 100 episodes. Despite the repetitiveness sometimes, the coolness of the characters and concepts in the series kept it enjoyable throughout with a only few slow stretches. All three Hokuto brothers were really cool but Toki is definitely a standout. Overall I'd have no issues giving the series a solid 7/10. Will watch second series and movies/OVAs sometime later.

Clear Card I actually watched the first two episodes like months ago but finally watched the rest over the past three weeks or so. I heard it was pretty boring/uneventful but I found it relatively enjoyable. It was nice to see all the characters interacting again and Akiho was really cute. I actually found that the plot building up in the background was interesting, and I wanted to see what Kaito had planned. I expected the cliffhanger/non-ending so it didn't bug me too much, but it's definitely a minus for the show that it's main plot didn't resolve at all. There were also way too many cooking and eating scenes, and I'll acknowledge some episodes were on the duller side despite enjoying it overall. I'd give it a 6/10ish.

This season I'm only watching that 5 Second Battle show but a few in Fall look promising.

It was mostly triggered over conservatives being angry about covid lockdowns. They were always advocates of everything "opening back up" right from the beginning. They heavily resisted masks as well.

Newsom was caught having dinner in a restaurant maskless which further set them off.

They also brought up homelessness and crime but I feel they were mostly angry about lockdowns.

No, it would be somewhat tempting for immortality but I can't imagine living with the rules. It'd be tough to avoid sunlight and I'd be morally opposed to killing/harming people for blood.

I used to drink tons of (diet) soda, I limit it to one a day on the weekends now.

I like how people think they can just up and move to another country and get a job. There will be an immigration process to go through and depending on the country chances are high they'll reject you, unless you bring something valuable to the table.

I was 11 and had just started middle school recently. I had just become old enough to really understand the ramifications of the attack. I remember waking up for school and my mom telling me about it. I sat at the kitchen table for a while eating something for breakfast and can remember seeing one of the towers smoking on TV.

I'm pretty sure all planes had hit by the time I woke up and starting watching the news, but can't quite remember if the towers had collapsed yet by the time I left for school (I'm on the west coast).

Anyway I remember getting to school, and some kids were messing around and yelling that it was the end of the world. My first period teacher for the day (math) didn't mention it at all, but I think a couple of teachers later in the day did. I also think the principal made an intercom announcement about it.

I don't remember the rest of the day beyond that, but I do remember TV being nothing but news the next few days.

Honestly in my experience, no. Didn't see much of it going on.

8-10 on weekends when I'm off work

The biggest problem with them is that so many are bloated and overly long.

I've liked quite a few VNs but with the exception of a few I feel like you could trim like a good 10-15% at least of their text and improve the overall package.
