not surprised that kroger is a shit company, watched them close a store specifically to spite workers in my city who were trying to form a union.

i didn't realized their stores weren't all union. i worked at one in Ohio from '96 - '04 and it was a union store.

it's possible because the definition of the statistic is so vague.

"!4% of the respondents have been homeless in the past year" doesn't really tell us much because it doesn't specify whether they were employed by Kroger during that period. it's entirely possible someone was homeless before being employed there.

because i like the cold. it's only uncomfortable if you're not prepared for it (which you can't say about the heat). exercising in the cold is awesome because you don't get hot. and it's quieter and less busy. exercising in the hot fucking sucks and i absolutely hate how hot it gets in the summer here.
