A handful of employee's at my mom's job got exposed a couple days ago by all having a get together with a common friend, who received a positive result the next day(why on earth you'd agree to meet up while awaiting the results baffles me). --- Work in progress, please be patient. |

I get lots of guests from NY at my current job too. For the most part they're fine, but there are quite a few that are quite short and to the point, which seems rude at face value. Military was with them in the beginning of AoU and showed up in the helicarrier at the end. Infinity wars battle took place in Wakanda, a hidden nation surrounded by a shield. Endgame? Idk, maybe they were on the way? Maybe they were dealing with the returning people, idk.Yeah, the people returning caused world wide chaos. Most likely all the world governments were in disarray and confusion. Then Thanos, who they thought was gone, appears out of thin air and destroys a remote compound. | KogaSteelfang 08/13/21 5:22:03 PM #19 | Technically, yes. It was part of a cover story my father was using to hide some seriously messed up stuff going on behind the scenes. It was $5 a week if all our chores were done and no serious issues that week. I'm not going into details, but once his cover was blown, he tried to stop paying it as it was no longer hiding his actions. Mom and some other people involved called him on his BS of only giving us an allowance if it benefitted him, so he reluctantly continued for a couple years. Of course it was used to force us to do as he wanted even more, and held over our heads as well. --- Work in progress, please be patient. |

She was the best boss I've ever had, she did everything she could to keep this place from going under during Covid, outside of sacrificing the staff anyway. A few months ago the corporate representative showed up, told her to get out and that she was no longer welcome on the property. The business owner's(privately owned yet part of a chain) had forced them to fire her because they didn't like the numbers they saw over the last year(during the lockdown and it's a hotel). They replaced her with the previous gm who had gotten fired before for fudging the numbers. So, of course as soon as she's gone it becomes summer and we get slammed every weekend, so it looks like replacing her was a good idea, and he's fudging the numbers again to look even better while the situation behind the scenes is rapidly declining. He's crashing this place into the ground, but they can't see past the big numbers to realize it. --- Work in progress, please be patient. |
