Captain Marvel was formulaic and had nothing stand out, as in the acting was just Ok, Larson was not bad but pretty bland Sam Jackson was just being himself and there was no interesting villain. If anything that movie shouldve scored maybe 50 percent, so 79 percent of critics vouching for it is a nearly 30 percent bump up. What more could they want?

I think that's why he pointed it out...if critics are woke and paid-off Captain Marvel would've scored higher than it did.

I haven't played it but seen a lot of footage...I guess technically it's not? Like certainly there are collectibles but I think that isn't the main objective. It's just a "get to the end of the level" platformer.

Both are excellent games but I slightly prefer Tooie for its interconnected world and more involved method of getting Jiggies. The first one is absolutely great for a more simple stress-free collectathon though...mostly. Rusty Bucket Bay is enough to give you an ulcer.

Legends is probably the best of the Direct. The game actually looks pretty good now, I was mainly worried about the framerate since it ran at like...under 10fps in the initial reveal.

I don't know the exact time, but Sony started their shit around midway through the PS4's lifespan. It doesn't seem like they're doing it retroactively, it's only to new titles after their policy change.

I think DMCV is a good indication of it since IIRC the PS4 version was the only one that censored Trish's intergluteal cleft. It was reversed though.

Yeah, I was going to say that the Shades in the very first encounter don't attack until you do (for fun I actually tried to see how long it would take before I got attacked first, it never happened) so perhaps Shades attack you on sight because you drew first blood and have a reputation amongst them.

I will still say that I don't feel bad for some of the Shades though, since some of them legitimately did some awful things.

Are the side stories spooky, or just background/fluff? Im wondering if it would be worth it to buy DDLC+ if Ive already played the original.

The side stories themselves are wholesome interactions with each of the characters and are well-written. If you want the spooky meta lore, you get that from solving puzzles to access hidden files in the virtual desktop.

As someone who had already beaten the original and got the true ending in it, I thought the amount of time I spent to unlock everything and view all the side stories was well worth the $15-ish I spent on Plus.

I wonder if someone did a ROM hack of Super Metroid that literally only just changes the item indicators on the map to be like the ones in Fusion/ZM/SR. That's basically the only thing that I think needs to be updated with the game, a full-blown remake I'm iffy on.
