I think the owners will cave to most of the union's demands by May or June. The MLBPA is one of the bad unions out there. It's necessary but boy does it need to be taken down a peg or two.

I can't really fathom how they would even communicate that time, overtime or regular, would be unpaid. If I am at work I am clocked in. That's been the case at each job I've had and they've always made a big deal about people clocking in before they start working.

Consider yourself lucky because what I described happened in 2 different jobs I worked in the past

When I worked at the supermarket, they tried to make me do overtime unpaid and they threatened to fire me if I dont do it. All I had to do was threatened him with a lawsuit and they let me go home

Youd be surprised how many people I know with fancy degrees who work customer service in the airport

The hiring in high skilled jobs in fortune 500 companies are rigged beyond belief. I know this because I work with a lot of rich and wealthy people in prestigious jobs and youd be surprised how stupid and dumb a lot of CEOs, COOs, or a lot of high level employees are.

I knew smart people in all walks of life. Even those who live in poor neighborhoods or who work low skilled jobs who cant get the opportunity or chance get the prestigious jobs they deserve because networking rigs all hiring to the core.
