I just turned on notifications yesterday so hopefully Ill get an invite some time this year.

I just turned them on today. I kept wondering why I was never getting one of those emails until someone asked me if notifications were turned on (which I'd turned off ages ago because I hate spam emails). Last Friday, I made the mistake of just copy/pasting the public queue link from twitter and even though I got into the queue and then the store, I couldn't add to cart...which is something that happens when you just copy/paste. For the love of fuck, can they just not put these out in stores already? Having a billion hoops to jump through just for the chance online is getting old. Especially when I find a new hoop that I didn't know about after jumping through what I thought was the last hoop.

I'm Christian, but I'm also vaccinated, wear my mask, social distance and keep an eye on the science. Not every religious person is a whackado...just the really loud and obnoxious ones.

The anti-vaxxers thing feels like such a catch 22. I've hit the point that let them reap what they sow is my opinion on the matter. However, as others point out, they don't just take themselves down. So, we either let them continue to be idiots and take care of them when "fuck around/find out" hits (which then takes icu beds away from people that 1. need them and 2. aren't morons that have a self inflicted virus killing them) or we start putting these people at the bottom of the list for beds and be branded as horrible people. I mean, let's be honest, at this point the majority will not get vaccinated and don't care about the toll it's taking.

I think Marvel is really showing their ass here. Aside from the Peggy Carter episode these have all been pretty taxing to watch. They try to cram the events of movies into 25-30 minutes and it loses its luster because of the pacing. Also, the animation is extremely lazy.

Probably out of desperation. When their lungs are completely fucked and they're struggling to breathe, it's their last throw of the dice to try and save their life. They don't care a jot that they're taking up a bed and ventilator that someone else could be using. They're not suicidal (well, not intentionally), but they are homicidal (since someone else dying is a price worth paying if it saves their life / undoes their stupidity).

in general opinions change when they're about to be intubated, though i've heard some nurses saying that they've had patients denying even to their dying breath. the problem is that people dont want to admit they're wrong, that they can be so misled by dumb shit they hear on the internet or from shithole politicians.

Another part of that is when someone finally goes "Ok, that's enough. I'm getting vaccinated", instead of people being happy for them, the "I told you so"s will come out in force. Because people are assholes about everything. I know a couple people that won't back down just because they don't want to listen to a bunch of shit after they do what they've been told is the right thing to do.

It's not a great reason, but it's one that exists and could be done away with if people would reign it in some.

Either way you slice, it the chance of contracting it and suffering moderate to severe symptoms is greatly diminished on a plant-based diet. That in itself supports taking a more natural and holistic approach to building up an immunity the way nature intended us to, as opposed to relying solely on medical intervention that essentially boils down to slapping a bandaid on the problem and call it a day.
