I helped a friend with his Congressional campaign several years ago. He ran on the Libertarian ticket. I learned that most Libertarians are fucking nuts and care more about complaining about things than actually changing them. We got no help at all from the Libertarian party and at one point, the head of the Libertarian party told us to "slow it down" because the object wasn't to win, but to get names on ballots.

He lost and I told him never again would I take part in anything political.

And don't get me started on how nasty and cutthroat the political scene is at ground level. Ho. Lee. Fuck. TV and Movies don't come close to doing justice to the sub-human nastiness of it.

I live out in the country, but for the past year and a half our electric co op has been running fiber cable all over the area and some of us now have gig speed internet. We couldn't tell Century Link to suck it quickly enough.

Funny how these people are always the biggest cowards in the room. Hiding behind assault weapons and riot shields, picking only on people they think won't fight back or that they can beat...the list goes on. TWD Season 1 pulled on all sorts of emotions, but I'm a big Fables fan so, the Wolf Among Us wins out. Batman was ok. Tales from the Borderlands was fun RIP Scooter and had some good moments. I only played the free first episode of GOT, so I have no opinion on that one.
