not in the sense many think. you still cant bring a gun into the classrooms and only licensed concealed carry holders can bring one onto a collage campus.

atleast you went out and did it and tried new things. always best to teach others on a private range too where you can get a little more personal and actually keep an eye on whats happening. public ranges tend to be a little too hectic and its hard to know what idiot might be in the next stall with god knows what their shooting.

first shot was the worst for me. lots of small issues that just makes you feel like shit and irritable for a few days. kinda like a moderate hangover. the second, outside of a little more painful needle wasnt anywher near as bad and generally amounted to feeling overly tired for a day. seems to vary of course.

How did they regress so much?

mechanically, they didnt. nearly everything in 5 is better than 4 in terms of systems. the 9 slot inventory is arguably worse, but then its almost on par with the other older RE's. the weapons and how they handle, the upgrades ect. is practically 100% nicked from 4 and expanded with more of them so i dont know why someone wouldnt like it if they liked 4. Were 5 messed up with the scenario design, most of them are either worse or direct copies of what 4 did with little spin of its own on them. i would recommend a coop partner if you can, the game was designed around that. if not i wouldnt play beyond normal with the AI.

6's mechancis are mostly even better, but it doesnt really explain things making it seem more sloppy than it really is. outside of that 6 is worse in every way, but not a terrible game imo like some seem to think.

0 is fundamentally the same, but with some new big mechanics added which may or not piss you off. its alright for what it is, but definitely not as well refined as REmake. Length wise id say 1 is longer, but like always with these games it comes down to how you grasp the puzzles and the backtrack/item management (of which theres a LOT of it in 0).

doesnt look like grounds to just open up on the guy let alone kill him.

at the same time a lot of questions emerge. why that many cops surrounding the vehicle (one with what looks like a riot shield)? why was the guy asleep behind what looked like a running car? why did he have a gun in his waistband (was it in a holster?) and was it legal? DC is notoriously difficult to be able to carry a gun in let alone a concealed handgun.

Overall it was a good game that translated most of the things RE does well into first person while giving a solid story, good characters and great atmosphere.

But i also didnt care much for the chasy bits (tho i appreciate being able to "down" them for a time) nor did i care much for the feel of combat or the enemies you fought which wound up being less than satisfying including the boss fights.

What you said about consciousness makes human being is not what science says. That's your own personal philosophy. What biology book says life begins at week 7?
that wasnt what i was getting at. i apologize if i worded it wrong. i mean it will eventually create the means to create consciousness, not that it will have it immediately when it forms a brain stem.

i have no say in the fight and honestly i really dont care. if i had to make a choice then id let science decide. having a heart beat doesnt mean much without a brain that forms a consciousness to go with it which is what makes a human being a human being of which maybe when the brain stem forms? which would be around week 7.

ideally id like to see better access to contraceptives, better sex education teachings and significantly better adoption options. if someone wants the pill they should be able to get it and if someone doesnt want to end a pregnancy, but doesnt want the hardships associated with raising a child then they should have access to easier adoption options. or alternatively stop fucking around and get more personal responsibility, this goes especially for men. theoretically id like to think it would cut down on abortions in general while not getting rid of or changing the option to have an abortion if you want.

Its all a grey area, but its most definitely not definitively "good, ethical, and humane". Thats all situational. some poeple shoudl not be parents and the kids could suffer or even die because of it, likewise those that have survived abortions went on to live good healthy lives while parents who initially didnt want kids eventually felt it was the best thing in their lives.

the first games interesting and its presentation is its strong suit, but its core gameplay imo leaves something to be desired. you essentially are going to be running around like a chicken with your head cut off waiting for a "power" gauge to fill until you can do anything for 80% of the fights in the game. that combined with some light "spell" usage that you can take or leave for 99% of the game and a confusing weapon customization system thats hard to take advantage of until post game makes for an OK gameplay experience, but one that imo isnt really fleshed out enough. that said the game is short at 8-10hours so those aspects dont really have a huge amount of time to get annoying or overly boring.

when it comes to the presentation its definitely on the higher end. its cutscenes tend to be cool, music is fantastic, atmosphere is well done, story is unique and pretty interesting overall (tho the scientific jargon at times can get over the top) and the game just has a unique feel to it with its darker New York setting in winter. overall its short enough id say its worth checking out.

2 is literally classic RE with some light rpg mechanics and spell usage. not as "unique" as the first game, but imo it feels tighter to play with most aspects feeling more satisfying. the RE aspects are done pretty well. music is still great, visually amazing for a ps1 game, highly replayable with a ton of bonus modes and unlockables. story and characters arnt as good and the atmosphere not as thick. its also about 8-10hours, but suites the type of game it is well. i tend to always come back to this one way more over the first.

On the other hand, Nadine looks kinda built enough to sell it
if this was against nate from U1 id say there was a better sell there, but nate also bulked up from where he use dot be. it looked like he easily had 75+ pounds on her in that fight (dont care what the bio says, that is not a 170lb man) which was more of a brawl type engagement which nate has been shown to know how to handle himself in. most of that fight came down to power in her holding him back several times which is why it was made more unbelievable.

the boss used technique. as you said more fast movements while also using the limitations of the human body rather than overpowered strength. shed twist your wrist or arm in a way it wasnt supposed to in order to force your body to react a certain way.
