As much as I like Spider-Man as a character, I haven't actually read a lot of the comics, and I'd like to change that. I'd appreciate if anyone has recommendations for any standalone graphic novels, or specific collected trades. The only major one I remember reading is Kraven's Last Hunt. I like most of his major villains, but Venom is my favorite. I'm down for anything though, really.

Meh, not my favorite genre. Played hades and realize it's a well made but I just don't love it as much as some people seem to. While there's a ton of variability I find the concept if playing through the same few levels, even with some variables thrown in, to be kind of repetitive

I think for me it's about seeing how far I've progressed. My first run I didn't even reach the first boss, and now most runs I can make it to the final boss without using more than one resurrection, sometimes none.

It also took me 32 attempts to beat it once, and now I've beaten it 10 more times in about 30 more attempts, including at least one with each weapon.

I've gotten fond of one that I've only seen in the fountain at one of the gas stations near work. Goji Citrus Strawberry flavor. It's basically like pink lemonade Mountain Dew.

I don't wear them, but my GF does. My only advice is DO NOT leave them in overnight, especially not for multiple weeks straight. She got a really bad eye infection from doing that once.

that attempt I mentioned very nearly turned into my first successful escape at 9 escape attempts. Had hades in phase 2 (which I hope is the last phase >_>) and down to like 10% when I got too greedy.

For now Ive unlocked Eris for the rail, Chiron for the bow, and Nemesis for the sword. Need moar blood!

So turns out I misremembered a little about that Rail build. The 3 shot special is not combinable with the 300% damage one, so on my first successful run, I had the 3 shot with the one that makes the enemies move slower and take 30% more damage. Still a good build though.

Also, I just did my 6th successful run, this time with the Spear. Now I just need to win with the bow to beat it with each weapon. I've gotten a lot better against Hades by playing more defensively and taking my time.

Very accomplished. Beat it with the rail, after 31 failed attempts. Now I'm up to about 53 attempts and I've beaten twice with the rail, and once each with the fists, sword, and shield. Every time I get to those last couple hits on the boss my heart starts pounding.

Huh, I dont think Ive seen any bombs in Elysium yet.and as for the exploding carts, those can be a pain but laaaawd do I love having the dash upgrade from Poseidon for those.

Also, escaped Elysium for the first time using the adamant rail. The upgrade that turns the special into a rocket coupled with the special crit upgrade from Artemispure beauty.

Loving this game. I just need to start trying to figure out how to actually work a build together. Im coming into my own now but I see so many vids were people just melt bosses like butter in a microwave. Its insane.

Another good setup for the Rail is the upgrade that allows you to fire 3 specials in quick succession, and the one that makes the radius bigger and 3X as powerful (with the drawback that it can damage you). Then if you get the infinite normal ammo upgrade, with Zeus' chain lightning attack boon, things go down quick. Just lob 3 specials whenever you can, and hold down the attack button at all other times.
