I played maybe 1/3 of it when it came out on switch before I stopped. By the time I was ready to pick it back up the PS4 version was announced so I just waited for that. With trophy support there will be greater motivation to finish it. --- |

Still as great as I remember it NMH2 will be interesting because I only played it once back when the game first came out and I don't remember a ton about it in my mind NMH2 had better combat, was a more linear game (and shorter), and Travis and the story overall were more serious in tone. --- |

Jungle Beat a wonderful and innovative platformer.....if you don't have old man hands oh god my wrists hurt so much For the most part a lot of those 16 stages are really good, especially the ones that are designed for you to never touch the ground and achieve a maximum combo if you play it perfectly. Kinda disappointing they reuse the same 4 bosses just in different play areas + the same final boss twice for the first ending and then the extra ending. Bongos still worked so I got the true experience from beginning to end. I appreciated they tried to go from a different direction from the DKC games by having all these rival tribal gorillas. I think back when this game came out I didn't really understand clapping/tapping to dodge boss attacks so I just stopped playing at some point on one of those gorilla bosses. Now I can finally wrap up these bongos for good and stuff them in the closet somewhere. --- |
