There's hardly anything about weed/psychedelics other than the plot. There's the intro where they are tripping (and maybe smoking a joint?) and there's the part where rabbit steals some that they uncovered

I've smoked for years. I'm kind of an expert. Super troopers counts but just barely. The overall plot is them busting people for weed, though, and they're the protagonists so that seems kinda against the pot community ethos

Most are but office space, step brothers, Joe Dirt, Joe's Apartment, 90s Jim Carrey are all just regular comedies. All great movies but there's no stoner element to any of them. Arguably, super troopers and beerfest as well

18 is the age when someone becomes a adult. Even if you didn't go along with that 20 is where teens end so that's for sure a adult. It's a odd mindset to think someone 18+ isn't a adult considering a 18 year old can do what a 25 year old can legally. Why is 25 the magic number for you?

The brain doesn't really stop developing until your mid 20s. Whether or not you consider 18 year olds adults, there is generally a pretty huge maturity gap between 18 and 25. Most 18 year olds still act like children in my experience. I think people mature slower than they did a few generations ago, probably due to the luxuries that we live with now

I feel like I contribute with my job but where I truly feel the impact of my contribution is playing music. I play in a solid band with a decent following and it feels good playing in other cities and seeing people I don't know come out to shows with our merch saying how much they love our music

This is definitely the case if you can get a tradesman certification of some kind, where they care less about what level of schooling you've passed as opposed to what practical skills you have in a specific field.

Apprentice to a plumber or an electrician, get a plumbing or electrician certification, and join your local union/guild, and you'll have a much easier time getting jobs in that field than someone who "only" has a high school diploma or GED will have getting jobs period. And the tradesman will probably be making more money from it.

The real problem is that we're currently undergoing a period of "education inflation", where the high school degree has been almost completely devalued in favor of the college degree, but the college education/degree has yet to become a basic service (the way primary school/K-12 is). So we've created this weird void where, if you just get the high school diploma but don't proceed on to a BA or BS (or something equivilent), the high school diploma/GED isn't actually worth all that much anyway. And then people wind up putting themselves into debt to chase the college degree that's effectively become the entry-level degree that the high school degree used to be.

The problem with technological revolution is that it usually takes at least a few generations (or a few dozen generations) for societal and cultural factors to catch up to the new reality. And technology is mostly advancing faster than we can adapt to it at this point.

Honestly, being persistent and having street smarts/knowing people goes further than your average college degree in today's market. If you're going for a 4 year university degree then you better know exactly what you're aiming for. Most people don't

Going by the two most known/broad categories of the trans community without getting into the people who fall into different subsets of these two... I'm not transphobic for not wanting to date a biological male who identifies as female. That's just basic attraction at the end of the day. You can't control if you're simply attracted to biological women.

If we're talking post op... it's rare but I've seen some very convincing post op people. But it's still someone who was born what they were born and having an operation or taking hormones won't alter your bone structure. There are distinct differences between the bodies of men and women that are difficult to mask. The supermodel convincing post ops you see are extremely rare

The entire movie would be completely different. The dialogue, set design, etc. Die hard would have a couple very minor quick changes and it would be literally the same movie. Home alone would need a complete overhaul, especially the 2nd one

I would go that far. I mean, most jobs I've worked required either a High school diploma or a GED (The ones I got after high school, at least). But in most cases, you can't get a GED until 18. So, if you have no reason to, might as well get it. Or try until you're 18. After that, you can drop out and get your GED if you fail...

Graduating high school and not graduating high school are pretty equivalent nowadays if you aren't going to college. Even then a GED is pretty easy to obtain. High school is almost unnecessary if you aren't planning to go to college. I would almost say it's better to drop out as early as possible and start going to work if you aren't going to go to college. But I guess almost every student plans to go these days
