In Shield, since I caught a lot more Pokemon than usual (due to Gigantamax Raids) and also trading is easier, I tend to nickname my Pokemon with whatever random stuff I feel like at the time.

Zigzagoon, it's cute enough, it's quite useful as an HM slave, and Pickup is great for early game.

I do appreciate the Bravely Default series' name much better once I see their meaning in-game. Though it still doesn't make a lot of sense out of it.

I've also only read the manga for To Your Eternity and although I enjoyed it a great deal, I agree with the criticism.

I think it's either due to too much or too little editorial input. The tone of the series just widely differs in a way that doesn't feel deliberate. Zombies! If it's set up more cleanly as either action-y shapeshifting series or coming-of-age drama series, I think it would benefit either way.

And for stuff like remakes, ports, spin-offs etc., feel free to use your own discretion (and maybe specify it in your post).
