Raka_Putra 12/05/21 1:58:59 AM #115 | LeonhartFour posted... Presenting Profiles - I am all for as much dialogue as possible when I play Ace Attorney, so when Justice for All added the ability to present profiles, I was thrilled. I'm sad they've abandoned it since the original trilogy, but at the same time, I sort of get it. It's not used in investigations in any meaningful way since they can just give you a prompt to choose a profile when it's necessary.Yeah, I still miss the extra optional dialogues, but I can see how they can add unnecessary work. Nominate: Eve Darklaw --- "So much love in his words." - RIP Stephen Sondheim, 1930-2021 |

Raka_Putra 12/05/21 1:01:27 AM #10 | Seems like I'm in the minority then. To be fair, I haven't been in base GameFAQs in so long I kindaaa forgot what it's actually like (other than the ads). Maybe I'll recheck with my alt just to see what it's like. BlueCrystalTear posted... Do they still offer new subscriptions? I unsubscribed when I took my hiatus and never found the link to sign back up.Yikes, I didn't know about this. Have you tried looking at the confirmation email? Thanks for the note though. Topic | Anyone thinking of not renewing their GameFAQs Gold subscription? |
Raka_Putra 12/04/21 11:08:53 PM #1 | When I first subscribed I wasn't subscribed to any other digital services. But now I've got...Spotify, Netflix, Viz, D+, PS Plus, and Nintendo Switch Online. And a YouTuber membership as well. And, well...compared to the other subscription services, I feel like GameFAQs Gold just isn't doing it for me anymore. They haven't updated the offerings since, like, 2017? 2018? It almost feels antiquated. Especially since now everyone can have an image embedded on their posts anyway. I supposed losing the avatar would kinda suck but I'll get used to it. And I don't even visit the Gold boards that much nowadays. Anyone in the same boat? --- "So much love in his words." - RIP Stephen Sondheim, 1930-2021 |
