It's about a quarter inch taller than the leather wallet because of the way the cards are situated. The length is about a half inch more. Thickness is vastly reduced definitely though. I think that extra is worth the tradeoff for having a flatter and less bulky wallet. I imagine their other models (which are smaller) have an even more of a reduced footprint. This wallet advertises up to 20 cards but I read the reviews before I purchased this model. The universal warning was to not double up on slots unless you wanted to use the wallet with two cards in each of the slots for the life of the wallet because it would open the fabric more. That said the fabric is surprisingly durable and rigid. I wouldn't count on the original softshell carrying more than 14 cards and 1 ID, and that's if you double up the internal card slots where the money slides in. 10 cards and 1 ID is max if you don't double up anywhere. --- http://www.last.fm/user/walkingishonest |
