I don't think so. Pokemon did use the soft C in Pokemon Battle Revolution and some other earlier media, but the movie, Pokmon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life, and Silvally's RKS system both use the hard C. Every single trailer for this game has also used the hard C. I don't know if it was an intentional pronunciation change or they just should have spelled it "Arkeus" or "Archeus" in the first place.

Rehashing the same content isn't necessary, but if you remove stuff that is staples of the series you damn well better have new stuff to make up for it or in place solutions that make those systems no longer necessary.

Something is wrong with your brain if you think this is anything like the mainline games. It is clearly trying something very different so of course it's not going to have a lot of the usual stuff. Did you miss the part where there are no gyms or elite four either?
