BTW guys I just noticed that you can go to 'match history' to see replays of your last 20 matches where you can play and save the replays + follow the people you played against.

I made it to Gold V, wasnt hard, the ranks have settled out a lot more since I stopped playing. I heard that if you get a good winstreak, you can basically skip past Gold to Platinum. I dunno if its still a thing. Uncertain if I should put extra effort in buffing my deck to bolster my chances for that skip.

After a few days of not playing, played a couple, won them. I feel like I could probably make Plat if I was willing to grind, not sure I am though, honestly.

You have to get a pen and paper and draw 2 cards. Good thing is that it's not very specific.

I think it would be interesting if Konami implemented special formats based on rarity, eg one where you can only play normals, or only up to rares. I'd like to see what the meta turns into when all staples and archetype playmakers are banned.

No one really uses trap cards anymore...

For a lot of people it's not lack of attention span (hell, I'm an avid reader). It's the fact that you have to spend a couple of minutes on each card to read and understand all the effects. That just kills the pace of the game.

There's no "I attack with blue eyes white dragon" and then "haha you activate my mirror force".

It's "I attack with some bullshit named card" and then "hey wait a couple of minutes while I read."

Also, I'm seeing reports that the iOS/Android version of the game is popping up on the Apple/Google stores in some regions. So for people who were waiting for the mobile version to play the game (or were wanting to use it as an alt account to try different decks) it looks like the time is coming soon.

I'm hoping for maintenance compensation gems like other gachas. Speaking of, destiny child is also offline ATM for it. :'(

The stealth drop of this game confused me but its way better than I thought it would be. Its not perfect of course but I am surprised with how generous the game is. I was expecting it to be really expensive to get any deck together.

I havent had this much fun since I grinded out decks in Link Evolution. And Master Duel has one of the cleanest and responsive dueling UIs, again not perfect but we have come along way from dark duel stories.

Got Prank Kids and Virtual World on tap now after testing the waters with a Blue Eyes deck.

How are magicians? The structure deck actually gives you a lot for the archetype but Im hoping I dont need too many URs to make a fun deck.

Hated take: They should of spent more time making a fun and balanced RPG system. Cause what they came up with is very amateur and not fun at all. Everything surrounding it is good, but it feels like a chore to actually play the core. MP cost makes no sense, corners you into using the only moves that make sense. The classes are cool looking but are super confusing moveset wise and not very unique to play. No Hard difficulty and you can win most fights just using basic attacks and healing. Once again making most moves senseless.

Maybe it changes after 20 hours in. But I just wasn't in the mood to find out even though I really wanted to see the story. Everytime I entered a dungeon I felt like I wanted to play literally anything else for the whole duration.

I'm gonna eventually attempt it again. So, Im looking for alternative perspective. But if you just say something dismissive, it's just gonna push me into thinking Im right :/
