Yeah it is. Don't play the bastardized version which is called Deus Ex: Conspiracy on the PS2 if you can help it. I actually bought and played that game and even somewhat enjoyed playing it. But yeah PC version is the way to go without a doubt.

Deus Ex is not winning by enough.

It's been a long time since I last played it but I remember it being so ahead of its time with its dialogue and storytelling. One of the best conspiracy stories told for sure.

Grind if under-leveled (which I'm usually not because I tend to do everything possible in most games I play and am over-leveled in most cases) or change my strategy and see what works if strategy matters more than levels.

you could squeeze by being lazy before then, but by matador you BETTER have buffs/debuffs or its pain train time

I agree, Matador is more of a wake up call than the toughest boss fight in the game. Thor and Mizuchi gave me the most trouble on my first playthrough.

Edit: mistook Yurlungur for Mizuchi but who can blame me here

Story is really not this game's strong suit. There are a couple of interactions here and there which are quite interesting but the time travel plot and ending is nonsensical.

Also my least favorite of the trilogy overall.

I honestly thought you were supposed to die as part of the plot in that fight. He literally shredded my health in a matter of seconds and I couldn't believe my eyes at first. But that is also the fight that taught me how to play the game the correct way and prepared me for what is to come in the data Organization XIII battles and Lingering Will.

Whether this is accurate or not is besides the point. Ubisoft deserves all this hate for probably being the laziest gaming company ever.

From what I've played it is a 1 but I couldn't keep going after about 10 hours of this so it shouldn't count.

Least favorite Trails game and is more of an epilogue with its own plot arc because the main story concluded with SC.

Some doors had very interesting scenes in them but this felt more like filler and fanfiction in some cases. It still has a well written and enjoyable story.

Wow. Dunkey and my thoughts on this game are frighteningly similar (He literally calls it G rated version of DOOM Eternal) and I usually don't agree with most of his takes.

Game beated.

Good game with amazing production values especially the impressive framerate for how much goes on in the screen. I would say this is tied with A Crack in Time but I'm someone who is not as high on that game as most fans of the series are but would still call that the second best game in the series, now tied with this one. Up Your Arsenal remains undisputed in my books with how everything resonated with me during the time I played it.

The story was ok but the humour was quite lacking in this one. And I really don't like the direction they have taken with Ratchet's personality. I even went through cutscenes from Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal and those games have much wittier humour and still managed a few laughs from me. Captain Qwark especially added a lot to the charming goofiness of original trilogy along with Ratchet's edgy smarky personality clashing with Clank being uptight and nerdy.

The main flaw of the game is how the gunplay is structured. It does get better halfway through the game because you have a lot more weapons and options but it never quite gets out of the shadows of being DOOM Eternal lite.

Nowhere near GotY material but a solid game with nothing exceptional going for it, that I'll probably forget in a few months and probably never play again.

Recommendation: Will probably be worth it for true fans of the series but not essential by any means.
