I clicked around in the video and there was some segment about how to be a pedophile there had to be a continuing habit of pedophilia and that since stuff was in the past theres no ongoing threat.

I clicked to an interesting point, to say the least.

I think I've mentioned it a few times but years ago when the local Wal-Mart(Which at the time was relatively new) caught sniff of people mentioning union, they mysteriously came down with what they called a "leaky pipe in the bathroom" that needed the whole store to close. For a year and a half or so. Which also required laying off basically all of their employees and starting anew.

So every map runs fine except this 4v4 map with these neon signs or whatever everywhere. Even on low the map doesn't unload a lot of lighting and reflections and it runs like crap.

All of the big team battle maps play fine but some of the 4v4 maps they decided because they were small that they could keep a ton of particle effects even on the lowest settings and the fps drops are huge.

The defense "goes first" in that they plead self-defense, which is what the prosecution then has to disprove with their case. The whole point is the defense doesn't have to prove their plea, they just make said plea and it's up to the prosecution to prove why it's not self-defense. The defense does not have to prove it is.

Maybe some states do it different and they attach to it to the plea, but to my knowledge you dont "plead self-defense" to start. You plead not guilty and then show it was self-defense. Rittenhouse has followed this at least.

EDIT: Basically, the defense does not have to prove it was self-defense. All they have to do is keep the prosecution from proving it wasn't (or likewise convincing a judge/jury it was).

I think you are almost there but wording it really poorly. Mainly because in our courts the defense goes second. It isn't really a "Prosecution disprove the defense" setup. The prosecution presents first and then it is the defenses job to cast doubt on their case.

I think they overplay their hand here. They constantly mention it and then severely underutilized it. You leave the game feeling like all this buildup for SA-X was for nothing.

I feel like they made the map tiles really small in this game to avoid that exact OCD impulse. It worked for me but I guess not for everyone.

I had a bit of this impulse early game but the scale quickly put this to the back of my mind.

Especially when compared to the SA-X sections of Fusion. Just thinking about the echoing stomps of those boots makes me uneasy.

There were 1 or two SA-X sections that required some thought but for the most part it just slowed the game down to a crawl for a moment.

Played Fusion for the first time before Dread, SA-X really wasn't all that present.

I too, could sit at a desk and talk aimlessly for 15 minutes every couple of days while not actually getting anything done. I'd probably end up pretty good at golf by the end of it too.

It always surprises me how much FFXIV got crafting right.

Having played a lot of WoW, in that game everyone has crafts, but every recipe but the endgame recipes end up worthless. And beyond that, since everyone is required to craft but there are so few items needed for each craft, so many things end up selling at near cost or less. It is still possible to make money, but its more with manipulating the market than anything.

With XIV, people constantly need items at every level. While leveling my crafters, none above 40, I literally made a couple million gil in seconds just by filling a market need for low level items(Items I was looking to buy but where demand outweighed supply).

Dread speedrunning going to set some bad precedents for modern technology. A controller that takes enough inputs per second consistently for mashing is going to end up being necessary(The pro controller apparently starts dropping inputs). It sucks cause mashing helps for 99% of the game but doesn't become game breaking til you hit the amount of inputs needed to 1 counter RB.

They had built up enough credit that I sat through the awful shit they fed the last few seasons of Dexter.

But I don't think there is any left for me to give them another shot.

Don't send them out for a random item. Find a specific item that sells well and have them bring it back for consistent gil.

All these guides that say they make money off whatever the venture lottery is thing is a lie(You can get good company seals off of this and turn those into something else, but that is way too much woirk)

I've made decent enough(Enough to pay for any supplies and have ~40M extra) gil just by diligently sending my retainers out and selling my 1 map a day.

That said, been digging into crafting recently, you can make a decent income crafting things at pretty much any level. No one buys anything at near cost in this game so just find something people buy and sell it.

Made a decent amount with a couple map groups with my static. Though I wouldn't say maps are worth the time anymore(Still turn a profit, but it isn't the gil/hour it would have been a few months ago). New maps with the expac should again be good money.

When you permeate something into society to be a hate symbol, it is now a hate symbol. It can still be used with heavy context to me okay(Such as saying "okay" along with it) but if your just throwing it out there these days it is pretty much assumed to be a hate symbol first.

If my mom dies I take the house to mself and evict my dad and he walks away with a bunch of money and probably dies after squandering it all somehow.

If my dad dies I take some of his money and make sure my mom can't get ahold of it and accumulate massive debt because she has never learned how to deal with finances.

Complicated situation that I just sit here pondering how strangely it will play out.

(I inherited enough from a grandparent already to not really worry about it personally)
