He was defending himself I dont deny that but I have no sympathy for somebody who went out of their way to create his own problem.

He should have gone without a gun. If youre gonna play tough guy do it without an AR to fall back on.

He was there offering medical assistance to people. He was literally walking, shouting "Anyone need medical?!" when he was ambushed... Oh, and he tried to run away while shouting, "Friendly! Friendly! Friendly!", not really the actions of someone "looking for trouble" or "playing tough guy".

Prosecution tried everything to claim that he provoked the attack but there was no evidence to suggest that he did.

That's the thing. He didn't knowingly provoke, instigate, or enter into a dangerous situation. He was offering medical help to people that night and treated multiple people. The "dangerous situation" came to HIM when Rosenbaum ambushed him and started chasing him. If anything, Rittenhouse tried to defuse that dangerous situation. Only when he was cornered by a guy who had threatened to kill him twice did he respond with force.

I answered your "question", which was leading. I gave you the facts. If you want to put your own spin on it, that's fine. The fact is, he had every chance to run around shooting shoplifters, but he did not do so. He killed 3 people, all who were attacking him as a last resort. The end. The judge agreed that his prior comments are comments that people make all the time and not relevant.

I'm saying he showed up, is on video offering medical help all night, and only shoots 3 people because all 3 attacked him. And in all 3 instances, he tried to defuse the situation, shooting only when it was his last option.

Like, I don't see how you can reconcile the picture of a dude (who worked for like a week as a lifeguard and had no real EMT/firefighting training) "just offering medical help" with the fact that he expressed interest in the exact outcome of the night just a couple weeks earlier.

Because according to all evidence and videos from that night, he was literally "just offering medical help". He yelled, "Anyone need medical?" right up to the point that Rosenbaum jumped out and chased him. Which he ran from.

What he said before is irrelevant when he tried everything to defuse the situation. If he wanted to just go shoot shoplifters, he had every chance to do that, but he didn't do it. He only did when he was in danger.

I love how people are saying that Kyle's going to get off because the "prosecution sucks" and not because there was no case to begin with because the charges filed were based entirely on politics and appeal to emotion; and not any sense of actual logic or understanding of law. Good way to ruin your career just to appease the people who were actually burning down your city.

The prosecutor is making like $66k a year. And didn't understand basic 5th Amendment rights. Didn't seem like he had much of a career to be ruined.

Why is that irrelevant? Rittenhouse didn't just walk up shooting protestors. He offered medical help to them.

Only when he was chased and cornered by a pedophile with a history of violence against minors did he actually shoot someone. He didn't put himself into that scenario. A pedophile chasing him, threatening to kill him did. If anything, Rittenhouse tried to remove himself from that scenario.

Look, if Kyle got attacked and in a struggle, grabbed someones gun and shot them, then yes, itd be open and shut self defense, prosecutors would need to shut the fuck up. But he knowingly put himself in a tense situation with an illegal weapon and now people want to equate that shit to immigration and act like theyre not in the wrong.

But no, Kyle asked a friend to buy a gun for him and then the friend illegally handed Kyle the weapon. Kyle then knowingly went into a riot, after saying he wanted to shoot rioters weeks before, and guess what; he shot people.

Who said anything about illegal immigration?

Fact is that yes, Rittenhouse was there illegally with a gun he shouldn't have owned. He should be punished for that accordingly. He did not say he wished to shoot rioters weeks before. He said he wishes he had his AR15 on him.

But Kyle WAS there and was walking around with a medical kit offering medical help to anyone who needed it. He didn't go there looking for someone to shoot. In fact, he tried to run away from the guy attacking him, yelling, "Friendly! Friendly!" Oh, and since we're going on what people said before, the guy threatened TWICE to kill Rittenhouse that night.

At that point, it IS self defense. Should Rittenhouse have been there? No. And again, I hope he's found guilty of the weapons charge.

Should a woman in a provocative outfit be in a dark alley? No. But you damn sure wouldn't blame the victim if she was attacked and defended herself with a gun.

So again, stop fucking equating his situation to illegal immigration because thats a false equivalence and disgusting to try to compare the two.

To answer this, you cant illegally arm yourself with a lethal weapon and then knowingly go into a volatile situation that you have no part in and use said lethal weapon in self defense. Thats the entire basis of what makes vigilantism illegal. Otherwise people would start shit with others, get them to throw a punch, and then shoot back because they had to. It sets a dangerous precedent. Same way stand your ground laws do.

But Rittenhouse had a part in it. He was tending to people medically, putting out fires, and cleaning graffiti. He didn't shoot anyone until he was ambushed and attacked, which he tried to run away from.

That wasnt prime Tyson, though. He was with a new trainer and not running/training. Under previous trainers he was pretty unbeatable. The top boxers of the time were all KOed by him easily when he was with Kevin Rooney and Cus DAmato.

Funnily enough, Hitler wanted to use the games to demonstrate the superiority of his so-called "master race", but then got upset when "lesser races" (especially Black people) started beating his countrymen.

Germany won far more medals at the 1936 games than any other country and were a massive success to Hitler and the Nazis, sadly.

He's never been found guilty of anything in the court of law. He tried to sue for defamation but that's incredibly hard to prove a negative, so I don't think it went anywhere.

In the court of public opinion? Depends. The higher ups at Funimation don't want to be associated with him.
