So Democrats need to be more like Republicans and never be left wing in any way. I've heard that before.

Democrats need to get off their asses and need to start fighting the Republican propaganda machine and need to start fighting against Manchin and Sinema types. They also need to get better at messaging. All that requires effort and a spine so it won't happen. Plus actually being progressive and helping poor people is a no no to Democrats' establishment class and their donors.

Projection and lying is all that they have. They always trying to deceive people should be indicative of their character and morals.

4 is great. Maybe not as great as NV, but still pretty fun despite some flaws. People rag on it too much. I've spent hours and hours building different kinds of settlements.

Returns > B&R > Forever

Returns has some issues, but it's still pretty good.

I put Forever worst because it had potential to be good. I think TLJ as Two Face and Jim Carrey as The Riddler were brilliant casting choices. Both would have been awesome as those characters if they were actually written right. Val Kilmer and Nicole Kidman are great actors as well, but didn't have much to work with so they're just kinda "ehhh" in it.

At least with B&R, you can laugh more at how dumb it is and can enjoy it in a "so bad it's good" way.

I mean, it has 74% on RT, made a lot of critics' top 10 for that year and it was nominated for 10 Academy Awards. Might be awful compared to other Scorsese movies but still can't call it a bad film. Although I've not watched it in close to 20 years.

GONY had some great parts, but was overall just ok. I think a big flaw was the weakness of the leads besides DDL. Leo and Cameron Diaz were miscast I think.

Definitely. She still looks nice now, but 08 election era Palin was super hot in a milfy way. I think she got me into the whole executive kind of look with the glasses and pantsuits. Too bad she's super ugly on the inside. My D is totally bipartisan though.

This is why I dislike Forever more than B&R. Forever had so much potential to be good and one of the reasons was the casting was pretty damn good for the most part. Lots of great actors just wasted on that.

Users might be left leaning and also some of the mods, but it's not anywhere close to 100%. There's plenty of right wingers out there and definitely many who are part of the actual staff here.

There was supposed to be a FOURTH ending, where Wadsworth had committed all the murders, then locked everyone in the house and went to get in his car and found the Rottweilers in the back seat, as if waiting for him. This ending never got beyond the storyboard planning, though.

I think all the guests get poisoned as well from the liquor. Even though the movie has its dark moments, that might have been too much of a downer.

While I'm a hardcore Tolkien fanboy who wants adaptations to be close to as being authentic to the source material as possible, having POC actors doesn't bother me at all. No it's not authentic to Tolkien's lore, but come TF on. Is it really that big of a betrayal? Get the hell over it.

I just hope I don't get lumped in with the bigots when I say I'm not really feeling the new show because it's not because of the actors.

As for the question, while the former can be annoying in certain instances, people complaining about POC actors are way more loud and annoying.

Not really feeling it from what I hear and this trailer. Tolkien is hard to get right and I think the LOTR trilogy was just a fluke in that regard and even it had issues. The Hobbit movies certainly didn't feel right. This is kinda leaning in that direction.

And I don't know why it's such a bad thing that fans have issues with stuff now. It's like almost any sort of negativity is labeled as just nerds being whiny. Yeah, there are plenty of whiny people out there, but there are many of us who may not like a certain thing, but won't go hating and complaining about it all the time. I just don't get why fans of a certain series/franchise/etc. can't be peeved that X feels different.

Yeah. I'm fine with Gimli being a bit of comic relief, but they made him a joke and he sort of reminded me at times of the dwarf guy in the Dungeons and Dragons movie.
