Right.. I was thinking of making it into a ice cream bar rather than 'cream' ice cream. There's a particular low grade alcohol in my country which I think would make a great ice cream bar.

As Jesus said, he came to save the sinners, not the righteous.

Right. Everyone is a sinner, but we become righteous through God. So in a way we become righteous sinners. Righteous people, or people who don on themselves righteousness are just as sinful sinners, if Christ isn't the one who bestows that gift.

Easy peasy theological algebra.

I think what's missing in this calculus is an understanding of faith from a Christian perspective. Faith is basically a cheat key. It's what makes absolution magical.

Oh and good and evil are shifted from a legalistic perspective to a theological one... hmm I guess in a way it's complicated.

Basically it's eaiser to understand if you place yourself in the shoes of a sinner rather than an observer.

I'll play devil's advocate and say that maybe he thinks they're taking a boat into Mexico and crossing over the border by land.

But that only barely makes more sense than simply taking him at face value.

It's via plane... crossing the border to him just means getting into the US. It doesnt mean the southern US border.

I think he's saying there are and were south africans who would come and stay illegally, but Biden didn't do anything about it.

But when it came to covid he sprung to action.

So basically he's saying Biden cares for one issue over the other, because he has a political agenda.

Seems like he's talking to an audience who cares for immigration or else it kinda falls flat.

I'd imagine a lot of crime because Islam was pretty much the social glue that kept their society together. It'd take decades before a new generation would mold to a secular society. I'd imagine authoritarianism would propell this drive until they have the ingredients for a stable democracy.

I feel like the internet is the language that's screwing with our society. I guess technology is screwing with us rather than helping us build a good society.

I could probably do it for a couple of years. China on a societal level I would say is a bit more ahead of the west in general. Politically I could say otherwise but the way they take huge jabs at advancement are vital lessons for humanity in general, whether that be failures or sucesses. We're going to be in for a suprise when China's educated youth of today take part in their middle class. The middle class China has at the moment never had a stable period in their lives. China's 20 year olds on the other hand lived during a period of modernization, much like the kids in the west, so besides the language... not much different. Whether China will mature will depend on who the next political leader is, after Xi.

That's what I was referring to, as Korea was a dictatorship prior to the Korean war which was backed by China, correct? But we busted in there and made a safe space for everyone that wasn't into living in poverty and working their entire lives for nothing, so they became a democracy while the North seethed in rage. That still continues to this day, correct?

No, Korea before that was forcibly annexed by Imperial Japan in 1910, until Japan lost WW2 in 1945. Korea was called Japanese Korea during those 35 years. Before that it was a feudal monarchy called Joseon with a 500 year history. It was simply an agrarian monarchy.

The current division was made because of a lack of an authoritative mandate to rule by the Koreans after liberation in 1945. Most were illiterate peasants, so there was a lot of disagreements within the intellectual Korean diaspora on whether to be democratic or communist. The dictatorship part (for the north) only came about because Kim Ilsung went on a bloody purge (assassinated all other communist figures) to secure power. The interference of the USSR and the Americans was what solidified the division. It's a bit complicated.

Korean history in the 20th century is a bit crazy.

Actually the longest government in the history of humanity goes to the Koreans. Their Joseon dynasty went on for 500 years, longer than any other Chinese dynastic legacies after the first century.

Most of the dribble you hear are agitators looking for political change.

You do realise there's like rapes going on in every single battle regardless? Also the rape of Nanking happened only after the Japanese took over the city.

We literally play as the Soviets taking over Berlin, and that's before the Rape of Berlin occurred too. I dont see anyone complaining about that.

For the Chinese threatre of war, we can play as the Chinese and take either the role of the CCP or the KMT. I'm sure people in China would love that nationalism s***.
For the Southeast asian theatre of war, we can play as the Indians, British and Australians/New Zealands defending the sea archipelago

You do realize the scale of the atrocity far outstrips most events like the one in Nanking?

Also there is a lot of unresolved tension between Japan and her victims because Japan never effectively apologized for their aggression in Asia, whereas Germany has.

I wouldn't touch Imperial Japan on Chinese soil with a 5 foot stick. Too controversial.

To put it in perspective, it would be like a prominent Chinese gaming company making a game that simulates Al Qaeda training so as to terrorize the twin towers. Not a good idea. Won't happen unless the tensions are resolved (or maybe even never).
