Shoot Death lynch MI and you find yourself with either the game already over because of a vote blocker or in Lylo with no ability to trust his scan result.

Scanning me last night would've been an egregious punt.

But yes when Ulti claimed that wasted scan on me my immediate impression was I blocked the kill and Ulti was basically admitting to me that I did.

Not my fault Ulti's play all game has resembled his scum playbook and he'd have to be punting to actually be cop.

Summary reminder:

If Death flips town it's 3 scum in Ulti/Ctes/Ben/MI (and if game is still.going kill Chang in final)

If Death flips scum it's 2 scum in Ulti/FD/Ben/MI (and if game is still going kill Chang in final)

Basically Kirby if Death flips town you have at minimum hard town confirmed two scum members and possibly all three.

That isn't a "bridge to cross later", that should be immediate alarm bells.

A Ctes shot could similarly implicate Ulti though.

Ctes is arguably better just because Ulti is on a cop claim and has to claim a scan that actually matters eventually.

What happens afterward? We'll cross that bridge once we actually see some damn flips first. Don't tell me I don't have a plan when I very clearly stated how my reads will be affected by Death's flip.

With Ctes unable to vote the scumteam in a Death is town scenario would need a lot of help from town. It'd be 5 votes to lynch and they have 2.

Will once again reiterate though that if Ctes is scum and hasn't been stripping his own vote that FD essentially can't fit on the scumteam because there's no room to fit his action. We'd know the other two were vote stopper and bus driver.

The lions have accepted the reality of the NFL: even if you don't have a top tier QB (depending on how you feel about goff ofc), you just don't let that guy go if he's good, which goff def is. The position is the most valuable commodity in sports, if you overpay you overpay and deal with the consequences later.

I do think goff is always going to be undersold because of how rough his time in LA was, but I do think he's played beyond that being fair at this point. There are far worse gambles the lions could be taking (See: Cousins)

Actually goaltender in the NHL is the biggest commodity. We've seen bad QBs make the Superbowl but you'll never see a bad Goaltender get near the Cup.
