It's a gacha, but it's thematically Chronic Trigger inspired with a complex plot and characters, turn based combat system with a decent amount of moves per character (including moves that activate when you move characters from the back line into the frontine of combat), as well as explorable towns and dungeons. There's this unusual sidescrolling format but you can go forward and backward as well, like 2.5 d exploration and of course the dungeons have maps. NPCs in towns give side quests,etc. It's one of the most "holy shit this is a real rpg" mobile games I've played. imo the gacha is generous enough to give you plenty of decent characters to play and very unobtrusive. |
