I didn't even touch the main quest after the first temple in my entire 70 hours in the game. I feel like that's standard for a Bethesda game, but in this game it seems even more the normal.Yeah, that's about how it went with me. I got to Neon for the main quest at around 90 hours, did most of the side quests there and did the main questline, and just...stopped completely. I enjoyed the game for awhile, it's just that it feels subpar or not thought out enough in almost every aspect of it. --- ...I think I'm done here... |

The Sonics in my town are all run down and if you were to just order a drink, the workers would take half an hour to get it to you. That's better than the one in mine. Spend some time familiarizing yourself with the subway system. It will likely be your most common method of travel. Despite the lack of any garbage laying around, trash cans are extremely rare. If you buy a drink or a snack, it's best to just put the waste in your backpack or pocket because you won't find one until you get back to the hotel/hostel. There's English almost everywhere in the cities. You won't need an app or interpreter most of the time. Prepare to be in shoulder to shoulder crowds, with very compact interiors. Probably mostly advertising. Those moronic commercials were everywhere for a while. They basically wanted to become THE VR company, but failed in all aspects because the technology is nowhere near ready for mass adoption, if it ever will be.It isn't even as detailed or intuitive as VRChat. A lot of people made Metaverse out to be some dystopian diversion through alternate reality like Wall-E or Ready Player One, but it genuinely comes off as dated as Second Life. A lot of the userbase consists either of older millennial or gen-Xer Facebook users who think it's more amazing than it actually is, or their pre-K kids that they gave their headsets to. --- ...I think I'm done here... |
