I actually kind of liked it, and while the characters weren't good, they weren't offensive to me, either. I thought the case itself was pretty good. Keep in mind the "average" score for an AA case for me is like an 8, while the average for most people here is more like a 7. --- "Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those. It could be fun! The Stolen Turnabout - 8.3 I used to not like Recipe for Turnabout very much, but it kinda changed the last time I played it. I majored in accounting, so I took particular interest in the loan shark stuff in this case. The classic case of taking advantage of a guy with tremendous collateral but giving him initially good terms to attract him to apply for the loan (low starting payment of $50), but then make it so that if a single payment is missed the entire loan gets called in (and I would guess the loan terms would have been confusing, too), and meeting with Glen Elg personally.... (not to mention I think you learn he charged 100% apr? Can't remember for sure....) Yup, classic example of dirty tactics... --- "Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those. It could be fun! One of the better tutorial cases (obviously)! Man, I need to replay PLvPW, AAI2, SoJ, and GAA2 if I want a more confident rating when we get to those... That's like 100 hours of gameplay. Good twist at the end of the case, even if I felt dumb for not seeing that coming ahead of time.... Also, bonus points for how disturbing the crime scene was when Phoenix and Lotta first entered.

It's pretty slow to get started, but it has the first great plot twist in the series (though there are two of them in this case) and the first great witness in the series (Dee Vasquez). By the way, Icicle has grown on me a LOT the past few years...like, I would totally pick it over Break the Limit now. I do wonder if #343 in my new vgm rankings is a bit too low? The composer of one particular track in Theresa was stated to be aanaaanaaanaaana, but I can't say for sure if that composer did the whole soundtrack. The mod itself was apparently created by zan-zan-zawa-veia.
