Banks accept liability for fraud but not for their customer's stupidity. If there's a data breach, or an employee failing to comply with kyc protocol, etc, they are legally required to pay for your losses. If you initiate a zelle payment to someone you don't know for a puppy on Craigslist, or use your debit card to buy gift cards for the 'irs', they aren't going to reimburse you when you realize you been had.

there's a dumb puyo clone that capcom made that's, like, really bad.

I couldn't figure out how to play it even though I had GIANT blobs of shit all over the place.

The trick? unlike puyo where you just need a blob of 4, in this you need a blob that has at least 2 stars in it... a 2 part blob can clear itself if it happens to have 2 stars in it.

I don't think you are going to find one that matched the popularity of console platformers simply because PC wasn't as popular when they were in their heyday. But if you want to list classic ones, I would throw Commander Keen and Jill of the Jungle in there as well.

Duke Nukem 2 is, in my opinion, the best DOS platformer.

ya, there were tons of great platformers for PC, but I can't think of anyone going 'ok, hook up a joystick i wanna play Clyde's Adventure!!!'

I mean, if we go way back there were lots of platformers back in the day such as OG Duke Nukem and Jazz Jackrabbit...

but none of them were definitive enough to withstand the console zeitgeist.

I think Super Meat Boy came close though, and there's an argument for Geometry Dash given its large player base but it's not really a classic platformer persay

To elaborate on this in a way that's actually helpful, in Texas Hold 'Em, 3/5 of your hand is comprised of the cards on the table. If you've got a royal flush, that means the three cards on the table contributing to your flush are the same suit and therefore the only possible royal flush that can be made with them is the one you've got. Somebody else could have a straight flush in the same suit, but it's going to lose to yours in value.

Actually, there is a way to see 2 royal flushes in Texas Hold'em, and that's if the royal flush is in the house, so literally every player gets a royal flush

And not just for stupid plot reasons.
